- Welcome back to part two of Vlog 13, the wild antics continue as we roll back to the shop. Cbear decides that he wants to change his handlebar setup and everyone jumps in to help out. Check out the behind the scenes filming of a bike check on Cbears Dyna that Reckless has been riding while he is out here visiting from New Haven, CT. Y’all should get trike or a bike with a side car just for TH-cam vlogs
So curious I have your guys mid bend bars on my fxbb, I noticed they are super wide. Is there anyway to cut them down? Knowing the throttle side has those special slots, can I order custom length bars?
You can cut them down, then you just need to cut or grind those same slots in to hold your tbw. It’s not that hard to do

Explain the inch and half & inch cutting on the bars?
Just narrower bars
The throttle side of the bars is 1/2" shorter and notched to accept the electronic throttle by wire which Harley introduced in 2008 for certain models and eventually on all models. For older Dynas you can either run a handlebar plug which makes up the 1/2" difference or you can cut the opposite side (clutch side). A lot of the stunt riders like Cbear have an aftermarket clutch perch/lever which is why they are able to cut more. Hence why he said cut 1" on one side and 1 1/2" on the other.
