- Hello gang everybody’s been telling me about making a Shop tour and shop tool box video. Finally had a the time just got done with an epic remodel hopefully you guys enjoy!

Very nice shop. Like that you have made the appropriate upgrades. Good lighting, welder, torches a good compressor with extra air space, which should allow for less compressor cycling.
Last boss I had, would really cheap out on the stuff we needed to get the job done.

I have that same little blue toolbox next year mr.big the one you take off roading I'm far from a mister big but its sits next to my 68 Epic all long drawers keep up the good work bud

I have that's where I saw the foam trays you're ratchet collection I don't have as many as you or c p or clay Coons but I got about 30 way too many for somebody that's not even a mechanic just works on his own crap LOL

4:25 is great idea. The 3 drawer box has a deep drawer there, and I wanted to change it with the two lower drawers. CNC foam for my hand impacts and Torx & Allen sockets etc. Don't like them in-between my sockets. However the wrenches and maybe extensions is a.great idea.

I'm soooo envious. I hope to have a personal shops like this (but paired down) + the same degree for "manufacturing" (as in lathes, presses and mills) of metal, electronics and chemistry one day. Basically; a full on apocalyse lab

I like the surcharge sign behind you in the beginning of the video stating "$100 surcharge for using cell phone while we try to conduct business with you". I have walked away from customers after 2nd or 3rd time they answered their phone while I was discussing business with them.

I really love the sign on the wall in the background. Get off your cellphone. I used to work retail and the amount of people that want help while trying to have a conversation on their cell at the same time is unreal. Fortunately Im a mechanic now and don't have to deal with much of that
Yeah man funny you noticed. I give people the shot look when they’re on the phone while I’m trying to explain to them what’s going on with their car

lol I try, digging myself out of a divorce and keeping my toys and tools is a hustle!
Does snap on give you new solvent when it gets dirty? Or is it 3rd party? my shop uses safety-kleen and they come once a month. Granted we are a hydraulic shop
I use the water based detergent that is supplied from them it’s got a skimmer that keeps the oil out which is great
