Nicholas Dmitrievich Galitzine is a scion of one of the oldest families from the Russian upper aristocracy, those who suffered the most during the revolution and the Communist criminal regime. Nicholas has as ancestors Harold the last King of England from Saxon origin, Vladimir Monomach Grand Duke of Kiev, married to Harold’s daughter. Another of his ancestors is Rurik King of Vikings and founder of a Russian dynasty, which ruled Russia until the XVII Century and the Grand Dukes of Lithuania since the XII Century. His great great grandfather Prince Nicholas Dmitrievich Galitzine was the last Russian President of the Council of Ministers with Tsar Nicholas II, when the February Revolution started. Very few know about his Russian and Social Background, just among the Russian community of émigrés in London and Paris. But Galitzine or Golytsin is indeed one of the oldest princely houses of the Russian Empire. They have more than 1000 years of history.

He's so young here, and relatively inexperienced. Yet, he is quick with his answers, he's articulate, and overall pretty comfortable being interviewed. The film looks good..lots of music and dance. This new actor is also beautiful, which is lovely!
