I love this pattern. One thing I have noticed is that - if you try to mirror the fronts - as in, have the right side facing on both sides? - it looks "odd". I really think you need one "wrong" side facing outwards to get the slightly downwards slope on the front. (If you have crocheted this lovely cardigan, you will know what I am talking about!). Therefore, if you are doing single crochet border, you need to make sure that the front side needs to be wrong side up (this is so hard to explain on here!). Also.... if anyone is interested, I am similar bust measurement to video BUT I used 5.5mm hook. I used aran/worsted weight yarn but this hook size worked best for me and measurements were perfect.
Really beautiful! ❤ making mine but I cut my yarn twice on second front panel to have my stitches facing same direction on both panels cause it bothered me that one panel has the front of the dc facing and the other has the back.
@@ht7243 made it some months ago so don’t remember what I did but was trying to get my stitches the same on both panel and don’t have one with right side facing and one with wrong side facing…
18:46 When doing the front panels, I am a much larger size so I did 30 + 2 instead of 20 + 2, and across I have 17 instead of 11 so half is (8.5) And my opening is 5 for the neck You only increased twice and for me that would only bring me up to 8, and I need to round up to 9, where should I do that third increase?
I tried to do this but mine turned out to be wayyy smaller than yours so it’s too tight for me 🙁 What did I do wrong because I copied every step of this.
I just made mine and it fit really well. Make sure that you’re making your panels and sleeve holes big enough so that you can fit it to your body and measure as you go:)
I used a larger hook. 5.5mm. When you do the starter chain and a couple of rows, you need to measure bust size and half it. I completely agree with Halley - you definitely need to measure as you go, but very easy to adapt.

You probably made some measurements mistakes🥹

I need help with the crochet tess dress pattern. Row 48 where it says "sc Dec (2in 1 st) repeat" what does that mean? I emailed you but no response.
It means, that’s a decrease row and you’re suppose to single crochet 2stitches together for the entire row. Excuses for getting back to you on time 🫶
@Mihankushea yes, I understand but if I decrease I don't know how you got 159 in row 1 to 120 in row 48 after decreasing each stitch until the end?
Thank you so much for your videos they're very helpful. Im almost done with this design, I'll sure tag you on insta when m done.. i love you queen❤
So after row four what do I do? Reapers rows 3&4
How many skeins do you need
❤
