    Foundation chain: multiple of 4 chains, mark last chain, add 6 chains
    Row 1: skip 3 chains, dc into 4th chain from mark, chain 3, slip 3, dc In 4th,….
    Row 2: chain 6, dc in dc from row 1, chain 3, dc in dc from row 1, repeat until last, count until 4th chain and dc in that
    Row 3-15: repeat row 2

    for anyone else that's plus size and wanting to make this -- i followed the instructions exactly but with a 6mm hook and it fits me (xl - xxl) perfectly!!

      Do you think 5.5mm would make it about L then? 16" across is gonna be too small on me and I want it sorta loose

      @@marialuginsland9863 i'd say that a 5.5mm would make it around a l-xl sized yeah! just make sure your stitches aren't super tight and i imagine it'll work just fine so long as you're comparing the parts on your body as you go

      @@iseetheWAYVision hi hi!! it is :D just make sure you're measuring the panels as you go onto your body and go up a hook or add/take away some additional stitches if you recognize the size isn't fitting you exactly

      Does the "sleeves" look the same as in the video? Or does it look more like a vest when u don't have it kind of like off sholder

      @@eva5604 the sleeves do look like the same as in the video! I think it would look like a vest if you have a bigger body size than her but didn't change the size of the project

      @@BionkHonk oh i'm usually a medium to large, so i think i added 8 chains to each foundation and just followed her tutorial from there. i recommend using one of your favorite shirts as a reference or to continue putting it to your body and trying pieces on while you make it!

      @@karendavis4238 i can't remember how much yarn i used, but i made a medium-large size and each front panel's foundation chain was 48 (not including the extras to start the next row). the back panel was double that amount, so 96 chains. hope this helps!!

    I have a question. If I am using a thicker yarn or different type of yarn do I have to use the two stand technique?
    I am genuinely curious, I'm a beginner and I'm very new to all the term and techniques.

      I haven’t watched the tutorial yet but most likely not. You would only HAVE to use the two strand method if the two different strands did different things. In this case it looks like it is just to make the yarn thicker.

      ​@eva5604 she obviously added to the sleeves and did not add it to the video. Always seems that way in patterns or videos, nothing is ever completely explained, something is always omitted.

      @@joseegaudet6109mine looks like the image. I think if you have broader shoulders or like a have a bigger frame or back it might look like a vest. I didn't add sleeves but it looks like the thumbnail because I am of a smaller frame

      heyyy!! I'm not amazing at crochet but I've been doing it for a while and I'm pretty sure you can just make the sleeves any length you want🖤 also if you want a flared sleeve you can just make change your hook size to bigger at around the elboww

      @@Tequilasunrisevilladivide by 2, that would be length of back side, then divide by 2 again that is the length of each of the front pieces so 14 for back and 7 for each of the front

    Hi, Could you pls teach me how to crochet the most simple mesh top? Reference - Oh my Girl relay dance- dun dun dance ( Seunghee- she wears a blue mesh top) could you pls pls look at it ? I tried decoding it but I don't seem to understand it, only thing I understood was a single chain base..
    I tried with double treble but couldn't get it done right... That top seemed very easy and I thought that would be 2-3 hour project only if I understood the stitch.. pls pls look at it.

    When I make the foundation chain where am I holding it up to making sure that it’s the right size?
    I am a size medium with a 36c don’t know if that helps but I am a size medium’s tops
    Do I need two strands ?

    Hi, I'm currently crocheting this and I just finished the front panels and the back panels but for some reason the left panel is 23 squaares tall and the right is 12 squares but I checked my Row counter and its both 22 rows?

    ugh!!! i created the front parts a little too wide! would it be a good idea to make the back a little smaller? would that fix it?

    You are useding cotton wool can you used nomal wool as well

      I just finished the front panel using one string of yarn, it worked rly well
