This Message is for the Pure in Heart All the Information that comes from man is carnal. Most of it comes from the experiences one has had, and that ends up being the knowledge, that He, or she, gathers up in his, or her lifetime. Wise men are instructed by reason; men of less understanding, by experience. True wisdom only comes from above. 1st Chronicles 22:12 “Only Yahuah gives wisdom and understanding, and gives you charge concerning Yashar'el, that you may keep the law of Yahuah, your Elohim.” Until you have a healthy fear of Yahuah, you will never gain wisdom. Psalms 111:10 “The fear of Yahuah is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding, have all they that do His commandments: His praise endures forever.” No wisdom can proceed from the mouth of a man. Proverbs 2:6 “Yahuah gives wisdom; out of His mouth come with knowledge and understanding.” A man can have all the knowledge in the world, but if He lacks wisdom, all that knowledge is for nothing. A man can acquire millions of dollars, but it does no good if there's no way to spend it! What good does it do if you gain the whole world but lose what matters? Wisdom needs to be the main goal of your life. Proverbs 4:7 “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore, get wisdom. And with all your getting, get understanding.” There is no price tag on wisdom, for nowhere can one buy wisdom. Proverbs 8:11 “For wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her.” If you have no fear of YAH and live in disobedience to Him, you will never gain true wisdom and understanding. For it is that a humble heart, one which bows to His ultimate Authority, is what allows the Father to pour His wisdom and understanding upon us. Proverbs 9:10 “The fear of Yahuah is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy, is understanding.” Wisdom is power, and the strength of a man is measured by His wisdom. For it is not by might, not by power, but by the spirit of Yahuah. Ecclesiastes 7:12 “For wisdom is a defense, as money is a defense, But the excellence of knowledge is that wisdom gives life to those who have it.” Wisdom must be cherished humbly, for it is a gift given by YAH to be used to serve your brethren. Wisdom is not a weapon…it is a tool to help our Brethren who are less fortunate. Colossians 4:5 “Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.” One must become humble enough to realize that you lack wisdom, and to cry out to Father for it. James 1:5 “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of YAH, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” Earthly knowledge can never be mistaken for wisdom. James 3:15 “This wisdom descends not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.” You cannot gain wisdom from TH-cam, or churches, or from any other earthly source. James 3:17 “But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.” This is as with all my written, and verbal communication. I plead with everyone: time is short, you must fall on your face, repent, and obey. For then, only then, does one have the right to pray. YAH only hears the prayers of the obedient and cries of repentance from the disobedient, nothing else. Our Father Isn’t Too Busy for You I tell everyone all the time, that the Father is not too busy because there are very few in obedience. I mean, you as a parent, do you reward your children for disobedience? Do you buy them tickets to Disneyland for throwing rocks through your kitchen window? Yahuah is our Father, and as any good parent, He only wants love and obedience from His children. Look around you ladies and gentlemen: How many are in obedience? How many observe the Sabbath, a simple day of rest? How many do not put themselves before others…how many people put themselves last? How many, when they meet someone for the first time, is their immediate thought, “How can I help this person?” Everywhere I look, everyone I see, all live by the infamous saying, “WHAT ABOUT ME?!” Everyone, I mean everyone, needs to correct their own issues before they criticize someone else's. Remember: it's YAH’s job to correct and refine. Who are we to correct anyone? We can only work on our own inadequacies, nobody else's. All we’re called to do is simply present the Truth as a witness for the Father, nothing more. Ecclesiastes 12:13 “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear YAH and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.” Most everybody in this world worries about what other people think about them, while not even caring about what the Father thinks. He’s the only one that truly matters! What are you trying to do by putting on a show for people? He knows your every thought. What makes anyone think they can hide anything from Him? They lie, brag, get the perfect outfit…they even have selfie sticks for Facebook & Instagram for crying out loud! People put on their masks (not physical ones we’re duped or pressured into wearing now), it’s their image or portrait of who they want people to think they are. Many people use their mouth to say, “I believe! I love the Father.” But do they actually show it? How do you show the Father you love Him? It's through your obedience. That is the only way to show love to the Father. By loving Him and treating His other children as you treat yourself. For those of you that can hear this message, remember this gift was given to you by Yahuah. We cannot treat others that this gift hasn’t been given to, with animosity…we must have pity for them and have tremendous gratitude for YAH’s grace. But for the grace of YAH, there go I. Just as I tell everyone…I have done nothing. He did this for me, and if you are hearing this message, He did it for you too. Once we are given this precious gift, we just surrender, and ask! Psalms 25:4 “Show me Your ways, YAH; teach me Your paths.” My point to all this, ladies & gentleman…is that you will not find wisdom from anyone on the Internet. You may find some information, but if you read it and pray, and truly seek his face, you will get more wisdom than anyone could ever imagine. A peace that beats all understanding, and a love that will conquer all fears. 1st John 4:18 “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love.” Just remember that whoever controls the information, controls the perception of the masses. Get your information from The Creator, not the creation. We are heading into even greater deception than ever, and only the wisdom that comes from above can lead you through the coming events. See Matthew 24:24 & Mark 13:22. So please, turn off TH-cam and pick up the Scriptures. Ask YAH for wisdom and knowledge. Remember: beware of the teachings of MEN. See Matthew 15:9 & Mark 7:7. Who's your teacher? Who knows your needs…someone on TH-cam? Who has all the wisdom and knowledge…someone in a church? Who can give you real comfort? The Kingdom is within. There’s no human on this plane of existence who can give you true comfort & peace like YAH the Father. You must be filled with the Ruach ha-Kodesh and you cannot get it unless you read the Word. I felt warmness hugging me, then tears started to flow and before I could grasp it I was speaking in tongues. Eventhough there were few words it felt good, I feel closer to God. I feel so happy rnn. GOD IS GOOD GUYSSSS
I was desiring to speak in tongues since I first heard this message....but I was not able to manifest. Since then I asked Him to help me examine my heart and to remove the blocks that was preventing me from manifestation. Today I listened to this message a second time and I tried to let go .....and I heard myself letting out words which was definitely not English. All glory and praise be to Him ....what a privilege
Im 14 and God brought me back to Him during this pandemic and I am so so thankful. But I still have difficulty and often doubt if I really do have spiritual gifts. Please pray for me, last January I was diagnosed with epilepsy and I thank God despite suffering seizures because I know He will heal me and has something in plan for me. He can see the bigger picture and knows what's best for me. I also realized that maybe thats why I had epilepsy because I push myself too much. I engage in things that I know I cant really reach sometimes and I always sleep late at night before because I was addicted to pornography. But thank God for His grace that He changed me through the Holy Spirit. Amen!

1 Corinthians 12:30 Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret? This one verse sheds concludes the matter. Even Paul is saying that all believers don't speak in tongues. Trust the Bible my brethren . "Its for all believers..." . Biblically speaking, not so.

So by that then why don’t they say all those other signs are “ evidence of the Holy Spirit “ why just tongues? Brother David. They didn’t teach this to me the church I attended. I’ve been watching your videos for a couple of weeks. I tried within this video and didn’t work. Brought me to tears in the process. Not sure if it’s because my husband and children were downstairs and towards the end más a little noise. I will try at midnight and in the morning when they are at sleep. I will not give up. Please pray for me. I don’t know if it’s because I haven’t received the baptism of the Holy Spirit which I want to received to make sure I’m obedient even to the things that are small and might not matter. Blessings.
I receive the gift of tongues when I was in my earnest prayer alone, at first I felt a warm touch crawling at the back of my neck, suddenly my tongue loosen and started to speak in tongues as God gave me utterance. I almost never breath, because my tongues continuously flowing those moments. It lasted at about 30 minutes non-stop. Since then, my speaking in tongues always intercede each time I pray, and it's become normal to me, I also make war in tongues, it is bold and resistant.

Yesterday I listened to this message and made some utterances from my mouth deliberately. Today on Oct 14 2022, I spoke in tongues for 10 min straight for the first time. I cried tears of happiness. My tongue was out of control and I felt so happy. I didn't understand the language what I said. I asked Jesus Christ and holy spirit to give me gift of interpretation. Thank you Father God, Thank you Jesus Christ, Thank you Holy Spirit. I love you father God, I love you Jesus Christ and I love you Holy spirit. Amen.
The easiest way is to ask him to fill you with the holy spirit and then submit your voice to him. He has to have your voice to take over. Start by saying syllables and you will feel the spirit take over. If this makes sense.
@@andrearoland9892 That's right. The Holy Spirit is recieved as the result of the Holy Spirit baptism. Once the Lord answers our prayer to be filled with the Holy Spirit we must then surrender our tongue to the Spirit until He takes control of it and gives us the ability to speak in the spiritual language that our English translation calls " tongues". Once this happens it triggers the baptismal overflow and the Holy Spirit joins with our spirit and remains within us.
I received the gift while I was listening to a similar message taught by you. What gives me freedom was the understanding that I only need to open my mouth in faith, start to speak a syllable, and trust that the Holy Spirit Himself will give me the utterance. That happened to me the 3rd time I spoke in tongues. It was like a shift into a worship song in tongues. I don’t usually sing much so it was a surprise.

The Holy Spirit is recieved as the result of the Holy Spirit baptism. Your husband must first pray fervently to be filled with the Holy Spirit until the Lord answers his prayer and fills him. Then he must surrender his tongue to the Spirit until He takes control of it an enables him to speak in tongues. Get a couple if men that already speak in tongues to pray with him . Speaking in " tongues" is not a native language but a spiritual language that's why it can't be taught or learned.

Especially fear of being in error before God. Also a vague fear of being out of step with my church because gifts are discussed there but never tongues, it’s like it’s a taboo topic. I had no idea that so many people wanted to speak in tongues...When I started speaking in tongues, a bunch of ladies got around me in a circle. They called it a "ring of fire!" The "head lady said, "Start speaking in tongues," so I did!!!

I started to pray in tongues when you were praying. I think that tongues was inside me but i was not able to pray in because like you said it is an ego problem (or indirectly Satan make us believe that it is not a tongues) but when i spoke in tongues during the prayer i feeled that words of tongues were more perfect than i feel before

I hate overthinking things too much that I have a hard time letting go of fear of what the Holy Spirit is trying to do and I don’t want to seem like I’m resisting Him or anything but it’s hard when all these thoughts involuntarily just come flooding in like crazy preventing me from experiencing anything He wants to do in my life. I know nothing bad will happen if I don’t speak in tongues but still I fear people will tell me things that I wouldn’t want to hear as far as their criticism saying that I don’t have Him in me or that there’s something wrong with me. Things like that just really trigger me like ocd mode. I just want to feel His presence inme even if I don’t speak in tongues but I just want Him, God, Jesus I mean I just want Him. That’s all

I have always wanted to speak in tongues. My ego is not a problem. I’ve even prayed to have the gift. The Lord gives us all different gifts. He hasn’t given me the gift, but I’m hoping he will one day.
For he that speaketh in an UNKNOWN tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. 1Corinthians 14:2 UNKNOWN does not mean it's a celestial Language. It simply means UNKNOWN to those particular listeners in the vicinity. Paul was UNKNOWN in certain regions, but than did not mean he was not human. I was personally UNKNOWN to the churches of Judea that are in Christ. Galatians 1:22 You must read ALL the scriptures around 1Cor 14:2 to get the proper understanding. It is especially helpful to carefully examine 1Cor. 14:9. This says essentially the same thing as 1Cor. 14:2 but in a different way, with a different conclusion: "you will just be speaking (not to God), but into the air. So it is with you. Unless you speak intelligible words with your tongue, how will anyone know what you are saying? You will JUST BE SPEAKING INTO THE AIR. 1Corinthians 14:9 The same Paul who wrote 1Cor. 14:2 also wrote 1Cor. 14:9. We must give them equal weight. The opposite of speaking intelligible words with your tongue would be to speak unintelligible words. In this context, that would be speaking in an UNKNOWN tongue/language. The result would be, if people in the vicinity do not understand you, you would JUST be speaking into the air. We MUST do a better job studying the scriptures, like the Bereans.

Why would I bother? EH? How does this promote the Gospel? It doesn't; it is just another excuse for one-upmanship, and conceit. Don't tell me that the Gospel is irrelevant. Look at 1 Cor 13:1. My hearers would react just as the crowd on Whitsunday did: "He is drunk!" We have just decriminalised drunkenness, making a forum for all these and similar nuts.

I had been asking God for a little extra help or a boost of strength for my spirit to overcome personal problems then next day I had my dad come in and tell me start the day with getting on your knees after that I saw the notification for this video and it brought such clarity and confirmation on a starting place for me it also made me realize that I’ve been too legalistic and that I need to just trust and take faith jump. I pray in tongues, but I'm not "really good" at it. I think I had "mental tongues" when I first got saved. Has anybody out there had this experience? I hope so, because I am tired of feeling weird.....

This Message is for the Pure in Heart
All the Information that comes from man is carnal. Most of it comes from the experiences one has had, and that ends up being the knowledge, that He, or she, gathers up in his, or her lifetime. Wise men are instructed by reason; men of less understanding, by experience. True wisdom only comes from above.
1st Chronicles 22:12 “Only Yahuah gives wisdom and understanding, and gives you charge concerning Yashar'el, that you may keep the law of Yahuah, your Elohim.”
Until you have a healthy fear of Yahuah, you will never gain wisdom.
Psalms 111:10 “The fear of Yahuah is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding, have all they that do His commandments: His praise endures forever.”
No wisdom can proceed from the mouth of a man. Proverbs 2:6 “Yahuah gives wisdom; out of His mouth come with knowledge and understanding.” A man can have all the knowledge in the world, but if He lacks wisdom, all that knowledge is for nothing. A man can acquire millions of dollars, but it does no good if there's no way to spend it! What good does it do if you gain the whole world but lose what matters? Wisdom needs to be the main goal of your life.
Proverbs 4:7 “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore, get wisdom. And with all your getting, get understanding.” There is no price tag on wisdom, for nowhere can one buy wisdom.
Proverbs 8:11 “For wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her.” If you have no fear of YAH and live in disobedience to Him, you will never gain true wisdom and understanding. For it is that a humble heart, one which bows to His ultimate Authority, is what allows the Father to pour His wisdom and understanding upon us.
Proverbs 9:10 “The fear of Yahuah is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy, is understanding.” Wisdom is power, and the strength of a man is measured by His wisdom. For it is not by might, not by power, but by the spirit of Yahuah.
Ecclesiastes 7:12 “For wisdom is a defense, as money is a defense, But the excellence of knowledge is that wisdom gives life to those who have it.” Wisdom must be cherished humbly, for it is a gift given by YAH to be used to serve your brethren. Wisdom is not a weapon…it is a tool to help our Brethren who are less fortunate.
Colossians 4:5 “Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.” One must become humble enough to realize that you lack wisdom, and to cry out to Father for it.
James 1:5 “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of YAH, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” Earthly knowledge can never be mistaken for wisdom.
James 3:15 “This wisdom descends not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.” You cannot gain wisdom from TH-cam, or churches, or from any other earthly source.
James 3:17 “But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.” This is as with all my written, and verbal communication. I plead with everyone: time is short, you must fall on your face, repent, and obey. For then, only then, does one have the right to pray. YAH only hears the prayers of the obedient and cries of repentance from the disobedient, nothing else.
Our Father Isn’t Too Busy for You
I tell everyone all the time, that the Father is not too busy because there are very few in obedience. I mean, you as a parent, do you reward your children for disobedience? Do you buy them tickets to Disneyland for throwing rocks through your kitchen window? Yahuah is our Father, and as any good parent, He only wants love and obedience from His children.
Look around you ladies and gentlemen: How many are in obedience? How many observe the Sabbath, a simple day of rest? How many do not put themselves before others…how many people put themselves last? How many, when they meet someone for the first time, is their immediate thought, “How can I help this person?” Everywhere I look, everyone I see, all live by the infamous saying, “WHAT ABOUT ME?!”
Everyone, I mean everyone, needs to correct their own issues before they criticize someone else's. Remember: it's YAH’s job to correct and refine. Who are we to correct anyone? We can only work on our own inadequacies, nobody else's. All we’re called to do is simply present the Truth as a witness for the Father, nothing more.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear YAH and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”
Most everybody in this world worries about what other people think about them, while not even caring about what the Father thinks. He’s the only one that truly matters! What are you trying to do by putting on a show for people? He knows your every thought. What makes anyone think they can hide anything from Him? They lie, brag, get the perfect outfit…they even have selfie sticks for Facebook & Instagram for crying out loud!
People put on their masks (not physical ones we’re duped or pressured into wearing now), it’s their image or portrait of who they want people to think they are. Many people use their mouth to say, “I believe! I love the Father.” But do they actually show it? How do you show the Father you love Him? It's through your obedience. That is the only way to show love to the Father. By loving Him and treating His other children as you treat yourself.
For those of you that can hear this message, remember this gift was given to you by Yahuah. We cannot treat others that this gift hasn’t been given to, with animosity…we must have pity for them and have tremendous gratitude for YAH’s grace. But for the grace of YAH, there go I. Just as I tell everyone…I have done nothing. He did this for me, and if you are hearing this message, He did it for you too. Once we are given this precious gift, we just surrender, and ask!
Psalms 25:4 “Show me Your ways, YAH; teach me Your paths.”
My point to all this, ladies & gentleman…is that you will not find wisdom from anyone on the Internet. You may find some information, but if you read it and pray, and truly seek his face, you will get more wisdom than anyone could ever imagine. A peace that beats all understanding, and a love that will conquer all fears.
1st John 4:18 “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love.”
Just remember that whoever controls the information, controls the perception of the masses. Get your information from The Creator, not the creation. We are heading into even greater deception than ever, and only the wisdom that comes from above can lead you through the coming events. See Matthew 24:24 & Mark 13:22.
So please, turn off TH-cam and pick up the Scriptures. Ask YAH for wisdom and knowledge. Remember: beware of the teachings of MEN. See Matthew 15:9 & Mark 7:7. Who's your teacher? Who knows your needs…someone on TH-cam? Who has all the wisdom and knowledge…someone in a church? Who can give you real comfort? The Kingdom is within. There’s no human on this plane of existence who can give you true comfort & peace like YAH the Father.
You must be filled with the Ruach ha-Kodesh and you cannot get it unless you read the Word.
Yahusha is the physical Word. He is Truth.

Since then I asked Him to help me examine my heart and to remove the blocks that was preventing me from manifestation. Im 14 and God brought me back to Him during this pandemic and I am so so thankful. But I still have difficulty and often doubt if I really do have spiritual gifts. Please pray for me, last January I was diagnosed with epilepsy and I thank God despite suffering seizures because I know He will heal me and has something in plan for me. He can see the bigger picture and knows what's best for me.
I also realized that maybe thats why I had epilepsy because I push myself too much. I engage in things that I know I cant really reach sometimes and I always sleep late at night before because I was addicted to pornography. But thank God for His grace that He changed me through the Holy Spirit. Amen!

This one verse sheds concludes the matter. Even Paul is saying that all believers don't speak in tongues. Trust the Bible my brethren .

Brother David. They didn’t teach this to me the church I attended. I’ve been watching your videos for a couple of weeks. I tried within this video and didn’t work. Brought me to tears in the process. Not sure if it’s because my husband and children were downstairs and towards the end más a little noise. I will try at midnight and in the morning when they are at sleep. I will not give up. Please pray for me. I don’t know if it’s because I haven’t received the baptism of the Holy Spirit which I want to received to make sure I’m obedient even to the things that are small and might not matter. Blessings.
I receive the gift of tongues when I was in my earnest prayer alone, at first I felt a warm touch crawling at the back of my neck, suddenly my tongue loosen and started to speak in tongues as God gave me utterance. I almost never breath, because my tongues continuously flowing those moments. It lasted at about 30 minutes non-stop. Since then, my speaking in tongues always intercede each time I pray, and it's become normal to me, I also make war in tongues, it is bold and resistant.

Yesterday I listened to this message and made some utterances from my mouth deliberately. Today on Oct 14 2022, I spoke in tongues for 10 min straight for the first time. I cried tears of happiness. My tongue was out of control and I felt so happy. I didn't understand the language what I said. I asked Jesus Christ and holy spirit to give me gift of interpretation. The easiest way is to ask him to fill you with the holy spirit and then submit your voice to him. He has to have your voice to take over. Start by saying syllables and you will feel the spirit take over. If this makes sense.

@@andrearoland9892 That's right. The Holy Spirit is recieved as the result of the Holy Spirit baptism. Once the Lord answers our prayer to be filled with the Holy Spirit we must then surrender our tongue to the Spirit until He takes control of it and gives us the ability to speak in the spiritual language that our English translation calls " tongues". Once this happens it triggers the baptismal overflow and the Holy Spirit joins with our spirit and remains within us.

The Holy Spirit is recieved as the result of the Holy Spirit baptism. Your husband must first pray fervently to be filled with the Holy Spirit until the Lord answers his prayer and fills him. Then he must surrender his tongue to the Spirit until He takes control of it an enables him to speak in tongues. Get a couple if men that already speak in tongues to pray with him . Speaking in " tongues" is not a native language but a spiritual language that's why it can't be taught or learned.

Your teachings have helped me break through to praying in tongues. What you said about ego is so true. I worked through every mind set you listed in this video. Especially fear of being in error before God. Also a vague fear of being out of step with my church because gifts are discussed there but never tongues, it’s like it’s a taboo topic. Last month, after studying this topic intensely, I finally decided that I’d rather be a FOOL who has FAITH than reject this gift from the Spirit whom I love. I had no idea that so many people wanted to speak in tongues...When I started speaking in tongues, a bunch of ladies got around me in a circle. They called it a "ring of fire!" The "head lady said, "Start speaking in tongues," so I did!!!

Truly I can't believe this. When you started praying I also joined in prayer in English and suddenly new tongues fell upon me and couldn't understand what am saying and was uncontrollable to change the language. I started to pray in tongues when you were praying. I think that tongues was inside me but i was not able to pray in because like you said it is an ego problem (or indirectly Satan make us believe that it is not a tongues) but when i spoke in tongues during the prayer i feeled that words of tongues were more perfect than i feel before

I hate overthinking things too much that I have a hard time letting go of fear of what the Holy Spirit is trying to do and I don’t want to seem like I’m resisting Him or anything but it’s hard when all these thoughts involuntarily just come flooding in like crazy preventing me from experiencing anything He wants to do in my life. I know nothing bad will happen if I don’t speak in tongues but still I fear people will tell me things that I wouldn’t want to hear as far as their criticism saying that I don’t have Him in me or that there’s something wrong with me. Things like that just really trigger me like ocd mode. I just want to feel His presence inme even if I don’t speak in tongues but I just want Him, God, Jesus I mean I just want Him. That’s all

I have always wanted to speak in tongues. My ego is not a problem. I’ve even prayed to have the gift. The Lord gives us all different gifts. He hasn’t given me the gift, but I’m hoping he will one day.

For he that speaketh in an UNKNOWN tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. 1Corinthians 14:2
UNKNOWN does not mean it's a celestial Language. It simply means UNKNOWN to those particular listeners in the vicinity. Paul was UNKNOWN in certain regions, but than did not mean he was not human.
I was personally UNKNOWN to the churches of Judea that are in Christ. Galatians 1:22
You must read ALL the scriptures around 1Cor 14:2 to get the proper understanding. It is especially helpful to carefully examine 1Cor. 14:9. This says essentially the same thing as 1Cor. 14:2 but in a different way, with a different conclusion: "you will just be speaking (not to God), but into the air.
So it is with you. Unless you speak intelligible words with your tongue, how will anyone know what you are saying? You will JUST BE SPEAKING INTO THE AIR. 1Corinthians 14:9
The same Paul who wrote 1Cor. 14:2 also wrote 1Cor. 14:9. We must give them equal weight.
The opposite of speaking intelligible words with your tongue would be to speak unintelligible words. In this context, that would be speaking in an UNKNOWN tongue/language. The result would be, if people in the vicinity do not understand you, you would JUST be speaking into the air.
We MUST do a better job studying the scriptures, like the Bereans.

Why would I bother? EH? How does this promote the Gospel? It doesn't; it is just another excuse for one-upmanship, and conceit. Don't tell me that the Gospel is irrelevant. Look at 1 Cor 13:1. My hearers would react just as the crowd on Whitsunday did: "He is drunk!" We have just decriminalised drunkenness, making a forum for all these and similar nuts.

I had been asking God for a little extra help or a boost of strength for my spirit to overcome personal problems then next day I had my dad come in and tell me start the day with getting on your knees after that I saw the notification for this video and it brought such clarity and confirmation on a starting place for me it also made me realize that I’ve been too legalistic and that I need to just trust and take faith jump. I pray in tongues, but I'm not "really good" at it. I think I had "mental tongues" when I first got saved. Has anybody out there had this experience? I hope so, because I am tired of feeling weird.....
