Why do I cry every time I hear this song? I’m not Irish, but French! Maybe my trip made me love this country and its people and the suffering it suffered!
My heart flutters and rises. So... soo..... beautiful; this tune and each incantation brings something magical that I am trying to describe. And I can not. I don't know how to crystallize all that floods in.
Appealing golden voice.Touchy very touchy. Thanks for the gift. Actually after this song when I listen the one of guiter tune by Geoff, realy comliments .I feel so satisfied.Excellent.
Amei!!!

I am not sure by your comment if you know, but when you click on show more it usually shows the tracks of the disc playing. I was glad to see Pat Woods is one of the singers.
I love this song although I cannot understand why since it is so sad. I am not familiar with Ann Breen so I will listen to her version. Much as I enjoy male singers, I like to hear this song sung by a woman.
Feck me! Felt I'd gone pure mad; when the tune sounded like Town I Loved. It was grand right tho. Feck all ye yokes in d comments tho; cop the history.

I love listening to the Irish accent. It's so amazing and this ballad is fantastic. Thanks for the entertainment and the reminder of our history.
