I always had to wear glasses when I was in school, my doc said I had to wear them and I hated it! I was always made fun of. My vision was always great and I never understood why I needed them! Almost a decade later, had an exam, a new doc said my vision was perfect and I don't need glasses!! Yay me!!

Cuz I personally feel they are less cute when your prescription is so thick it makes your eyes magnified. Very embarrassing but you know gotta deal with it. I wore contacts from 5th grade to 25 years old and now at 26, my eyes have gotten so bad there aren't any contact lense options for me. (Until the contact lense scientists are able to make some for very strong prescriptions!! I have hope!!!)

If you like the glasses that'll really help your confidence. Wear them with a smile! You'll also realize that many people in your life wear glasses too! They're lots of fun, you don't even need contacts. You could ask your parents about getting disposable contacts (the ones you wear one pair of each day) but I can't imagine they're very comfortable. I can't wear them as my eyes dry out too easily so contacts would only exacerbate that, but glasses suit me so well that I don't care. Another tip is, especially if you need to wear your glasses all the time like I do and can't wear contacts, get the fit over sunglasses. These are the ones specifically designed to fit over your glasses. Amazon has a lot of really cute ones, most of them under $20 and even under $15. Solar Shields is another great brand for them. All my sunglasses that I didn't get from Amazon are from Solar Shields.
Glasses USA is nice for those that don’t need them for actual eye correction. They charged me over 200 for my prescription plus the price of the glasses and that was disappointing. I rather just go to my eye doctor.
