....IMHO: I WOULD'VE DRILLED A SMALL HOLE AT EACH LIGHT STRIP LOCATION, THUS, KEEPING ALL OF THE WIRING INSIDE THE BOAT, AND OUT OF HARM'S WAY. ALSO: YOU MIGHT ALSO ADD A STRIP OF "REFLECTIVE TAPE" ALONG THE GUNWALES, ADJACENT TO THE ADDED LIGHTS, TOO.... IN CASE THE LIGHTS, OR BATTERY FAILS, YOUR BOAT MIGHT STILL BE MADE MORE "VISIBLE", TO OTHER APPROACHING CRAFT....
OMG I DIDNT EVEN THINK OF THE DRAIN PLUG.. THANK U
Glad it was helpful!
Awesome! Looks great! Easy enough to just throw a new plug in if you sell the yak in the future.
Awesome idea 💡👍🏼. Thanks for sharing it💯
Thanks for tuning in. The motor install vid will be up soon as well..
Great idea
Thanks!
Watching here bro.. 👍👍👍
no drilling... 50 seconds in.. I'm gonna be drilling through this.. ;)
Haha. Meant no drilling on the kayak lol.
Do you not find these non-directional (or USCG approved) nav lights a hindrance in regards to being able to see past their glare on a dark night?
No. They are not as bright as you think.

wonder how difficult it would be to add an on/off switch so you could turn them off once the sun was up ?
I have a video on that. Super simple to add a switch.
What motor are you going with?
Hey Daniel, I just got the Bixpy J-2. Mounting it on the power pole area.
@@WannaFishAllDay Good deal. Look forward to seeing it.
@@danielperryfishing3046 Thanks for watching and subbing! Just waiting on a backing plate before installing.
@@WannaFishAllDay looking forward to seeing that 💯🍻
Wanna fish all day...and all night...
Not a fan of the wires being out like that…
$10 amazon lights and still worked fine after 2+ years.
Good thing it's not your boat...
@@mynameisjoejoe : You’re right, mine doesn’t look like I’m too lazy to do it the right way…
