My brother (Jacob Stephenson) & mother (Deborah Stephenson) both DNA match a few of Crista Cowan's relatives. What is frustrating is: Crista Cowan has a brick wall for the ancestors of her ancestors John O'Brien & Albert Jefferson Kerr. My mother is a descendant of both an O'Brien family & a Kerr family so I am uncertain whether or not we are related to Crista Cowan & her family through either the O'Brien family or the Kerr family that we descend from or both!
Some branches of my family tree go back more than a dozen generations. The only limitation is in the available records and your research skills. (And, of course, new records are always becoming available and your skills can only increase as you continue to watch videos like this one and educate yourself. You are doing great!)

Does the Mac version of FTM of the todo list synch as well?
How big can the ancestry tree get,,I would like to continue pass my great great grandparents from ancestry.com?
