1st trk i drove was a 900 single axle late 60s with a 3 way splitter on the knob in 85. No radio or air ride or conditioning. Wipers were vacuum operated. Manual steering and to raise your seat had to pump a handle. Loud and drove like a tank.
I'm not sure what the sound track is called, it's from the TH-cam library. I would prefer not to use any soundtrack but these events generally have speakers playing copyrighted music so I have to do something or the video would get a copyright strike.
Surprised to see it was a diesel. no exterior air filter or luberfiner. The ones I drove with a Detroit had the big square Farr Air cleaner on th pass side & oil filter on drives side. We had 238 Detroits in ours
Im surprised to not see the square air cleaner too. There is a local T800 here with a factory original cummins triple nickle (555) with a 13 speed, 10860 FA, 34 rears
Man, what a beautiful rig!
Yep, a very tidy example.

That would give you quite a workout to drive!
They called em 5 and 3 . 5spd main 3 spd. rear end.

It's a nice looking example.
Very nice! And not too far away from me! I've got a C600 and a C800, both gas.
You live in western PEI?
@@BlueShankPEI Fredericton area of NB.
@@MoparArtbyautomolove Oh, a little further away than I was guessing.
@@MoparArtbyautomolove im about to receive a ct800 any recommendation for places on getting parts?
I thought it would have a 8v71 not a 6v53
An 8v71 would have had the cab raised for clearencs so it sat higher. we had one on a trailer dump
love dodge trucks! love the 70AAR cuda in the side shot a little bit more though.
Dodge trucks are certainly quite popular.
0:45 - Detroit Diesel in that one, folks!

I don't know. Perhaps someone else with greater knowledge can answer that for you.
