  • Torpedo Captor X is perfect for live shows - the attenuator gives you complete control of the stage volume level while sending the legendary Torpedo cab sim direct to the mixing desk.
    During the final stages of development, we invited Rich Renken from Rev4 Audio to try the Captor X in a small club and put the reactive load box through its paces in a real live setting.
    Torpedo Captor X is a compact reactive load box, tube amp attenuator, miked cab simulator, IR loader, and stereo expander for home, live, and studio use.

    This is the best most useful demo for the Captor X in a live/gig situation for guitarists like myself that play 100watt Marshalls. Great job man, love the Kings X shirt! Cheers, you are awesome ✊🏽

    Thanks for all the info in this vid 🙏 I can get a reasonable deal on a late 60’s Super Bass 100. So according to this vid I can actually use the Captor X as an attenuator/foh friendly unit ? My settings are around 6 with a set to unity gain germanium fuzz. I am 62ys young and grew up with these amps. As a working musician had to gig with smaller combos but do I miss the sound of this beast !!!

    Probably a stupid question to some, but can I use to attenuate my 100w Amps AND run w my pedal board into my FRFR 12 speaker for quiet late night practice at home ? Please, anyone. I bought the Captor 16 ohm and then 1 week later this came out. it's still in the box new and unused. What does the Captor X do that the V1 didn't do ? Lots of questions I see it has the 6 settings for Cabs. My 1st question is important because I don't want to damage my FRFR 12 powered speaker (Headrush). Thank You -

    • @TwoNotestv
      @TwoNotestv  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not sure I understand what you are saying tbh,
      But... The Captor X allows your amp to run silently (up to 100w), what you do with the signal before it hits your amp doesn't really matter, and you can run the signal out from that to your FRFR if you want.
      There is no v1, the black analog captor is basically just an attenuator - a different profuct, the Captor X does considerably more. There are hundreds of videos on TH-cam, and many on our channel, that will show you what it does!

    • @teriakamoto
      @teriakamoto 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TwoNotestv I understand. So it is alright to go from pedal board into a 100w 6505+ or Laboga mr. hector into Captor X and then into a Headrush FRFR then without destroying the powered FRFR Speaker. I have an Orange PPC 4X12 so I suppose I can just use that because of attenuation.So for home application, it will cut all the way down 38dbs opposed to 20 ?
