Wow, you guys did a heck of a nice job! I like the guardrail idea. I've been thinking about using it for my bud box. It's unbelievable what lumber is going for right now.. just crazy
Good little video on your plans for the future I would go to the town square and talk to someone in their 80s and 90s with bib overalls on that had cattle operations and compare what do universities have to say You already commented about the barn the eaves they should have been longer I would finish the job Also some parts of the country are better to raise cattle than others cost-wise I don't have the answer you got to kick it around till you do and are comfortable with the results see you next time
It is always good when work goes into setting up things so you have to work less to produce more. I have some power poles with guard rail by the roid to stop drunks from crashing into my fence.
Best thing I ever did was use sex semen to get all my heifers and use beef semen on the rest. Those cross calves are easier to market than straight jersey calves. I'd like to build a barn like that someday to maybe finish out more calves for direct market.
Looks like a great setup.
Thanks for another update. I tip my hat to you for your hard work. The barn/shed looks great, first rate.
Thanks for sharing very nice setup

Nice set up, I think I’ll watch it twice
What size building is that? Height too?
Barns great, but 8 was wondering where do you market your cows
Jbs by the pot load or a local butcher shop
@@landmarkcattle5220 thanks just curious, I'm 14 and love watching your videos
Awesome setup sir. Love your videos. What are the dimensions for the pack barn?, if you dont mind me asking.
35x80
Pretty fancy set up. It looks like you made a good investment in the future.
Where do you guys farm at? I’m looking to build a finishing floor like you guys have
Nice to see the finished product. After seeing pictures on instagram
What are you going to do for the cattle wrecking your curtains?
I put 2 high tensile wires above the guardrail. They don’t like hot wire
Nice looking barn buddy!!! Glad to see another good ole Kentucky farmer. How is the Holstein feeder market down your way it’s not to hot here
Haven’t bought any since September. Stockyards usually too high. I don’t mind giving a decent price if I find them before they send them there.

Sweet barn
Thanks!

You have a very pretty place
Thanks!
pretty slick
You've been spending a lot of money! Hope it works out. Me and dad built a sweep not as hard as you would think and is a lot cheaper.
4.00 corn
Soon to be 5.00
