@@youraveragemachine1013 That is true, but to be fair, it is less of a matter of opening the gateways to several more eldritch beings and more like ‘Holy shit, the fabric of our universe is in peril and Chaldea is the only one to stop it’ which is probably why this fits more with Abigail, especially because of the cutscene before the grand battle itself
@@Camtech076 Tbh I see it working for Schez. Threat's in the same vein as Moriarty's plan. Moriarty shoots an asteroid into the Earth as the ultimate crime which would completely destroy Chaldea in the future, while Schez drops a flying island into a city while removing mysticism from magic, rendering the Servant Summoning System and magic obsolete which would also just nullify Chaldea's efforts. I suppose I'm thinking of it as the bossfight theme of Remnant Order instead of the final bossfight theme of the singularities, in that case it really doesn't fit.
Fun fact: at 1:26-1:55 If you launch Moriarty's NP at normal speed it will start and end perfectly within this part. This theme is literally made for him.
It WAS made for him. Sure, they reuse it for the entire EoR saga, but there is an obvious feeling that the entire thing was composed with Shinjuku in mind. Which is why Shimousa’s climax uses a Japanese remix of Grand Battle instead and most of the final boss fights in Salem use a different theme as well.

Event Grand Battles include vs Mecha Eli Mk 2, Void Shiki, Gugalanna, Nergal's Malice. The final Shimosa battle against Kojiro isnt a Grand Battle. Grand Battles signify the end of a plot and the Kojiro battle is post-Final Boss when the singularity is on the verge of collapsing. Hence why its a one-on-one solo instead of a full team battle.

Yes, Amakusa is the mastermind and all but the story of Shimousa is Musashi’s journey from wandering swordsman to a master of her style. This is done throughout the entire adventure as she battles the seven swordsmen of Amakusa. Thus the grand finale of Shimousa is not defeating the deluded leader, but instead the duel with Musashi’s fated rival. It’s the end of her personal journey.

@@neoterumi4772 Sherlock Holmes's other NP is Empty house, which allows him to replicate the voice and the look of anyone he wants this however.... won't replicate their NP or fighting skills, yet Holmes are somehow able to fight with Dantes's moves and even unleashing his NP sus indeed
Shinjuku wasn't on the scale of Camelonia but it's probably the one I hold dearest in my heart. The two Alters, Lobo, Papa, Emiya Alter (who actually managed to be really damn cool, I was expecting him to suck!) it's just such a ride. Qing is a legitimately cool character but he doesn't really shine until the stuff afterwards. That dance was a perfect note to end on, too.
yeah DW kinda blew the perfect chance to debut him. It's his nemesis we are fighting and we get EMIYA Alter instead. his debut would have been like Merlin's in the Tiamat fight.
I feel like they should do a collaboration with Devil may Cry, Have Dante or Nero be a 4 star servant and have Vergil be the final boss of that Singularity as well as he be a 5 star. This would fit for the final fight, or play Bury the light in Japanese.
