Advantage of Background Automation
- Background Automation is the method to automate different tasks in such a way that it won’t interfere with the user in his activities.
- Background automation is used when the user wants to work on two or more things at the same time without interfering with each other or other applications.
- Background Automation is used to automate hidden windows/browsers which is not visible on screen.

- Input Action
- Output Action

Input actions require robot to directly interact with an opened application or web page. There are three types of input methods for click and type actions. It differs based on their capability and compatibility.
Input Method

-- Default Method - The Default Method clicks or types with the help of the hardware driver. The default method is the slowest, it cannot work in the background, but it is compatible with all the apps.
--Send Window Message Method - Send Window Messages works by sending a specific message directly to the target application. This input method can work in the background, is compatible with most desktop apps, but it is not the fastest of the methods.
--Simulate Type/Click - Simulate Type/Click method uses the technology of the target application. This input method is the fastest of the three and works in the background.

Output Methods

Full Text
Full text is the default method, and it’s the best one for most situations. It’s fast, accurate, and works in background.
Native
The Native method has the advantage of being able to extract word data, like the screen coordinates of each word or character.
OCR
OCR is not 100% accurate, but can be useful to extract text that the other two methods could not, as it works with all applications including Citrix. Studio uses two OCR engines, by default: Google OCR and Microsoft OCR.

And then depending on the output, it lets me know if the address I'm using is correct, while I'm working in something else.

Another question: Can I extract some words out of the hidden state (not just minimized) browser?
How should I do that?

This video has intro about output method. By the way you can use Full Text default output method. it is fastest.It works in the background and also extracts the hidden text.

I guess background compatibility in default method is not explained properly. If we want to work on some other application at time when bot is running that is called background compatibility .

Simulate click doesnt work, otherwise when i need yo use a Hotkey the before process that is on background pass To be a Default process, u need to play with simulate type and windows messages
