Hello, I'm Rie, a Japanese female guitarist. Currently, we are holding concerts mainly in Tokyo.
She has composed all the songs herself and has released 13 CD albums to date.

Can we take a moment and just appreciated her taste in guitars. Jackson Pile of Skulls graphic on a Rhoads = Boss Level. This woman stuns me with every release she has put forth. Superb Writing and Superb Performance becomes one with Rie.
Listening to this MV before work starts. I play it almost 8 times at week. It cheers me up. My favorite is 5 stroke roll after drum solo.

I see Rie has picked up a top notch drummer. Is Kanade signed on long term? (looking back I see she is a regular, good for her, good for both of them)
Hard to say but Kanade seems to be Rie's preferred drummer these days. Kanade has played drums on Rie's albums since Top Runner and just finished laying down tracks for Rie's next album this past week. Of course Kanade does a lot of other stuff including being a TV star.
Kanade has been her drummer for a wee while now , at least for the last few livestreams i have viewed. The keybord player is different, usually Mari as is the bassist usually Rina Hoshino

Kanade has been playing regularly with Rie for about three years now. I think this was the first time: th-cam.com/video/Rq7tsPgOTBE/w-d-xo.html They certainly play together wonderfully well. Kanade is a star in her own right. She is a prodigy who has been performing since the age of 6, and with some of Japan's top musical artists.

Really beautiful instrumental. Original, but similar to the work Hal-Ca does with her Yamaha Pacifica and Asterism. Not a competition or comparison, just both artists compose pieces that carry a mind on a musical journey that is so moving and emotional. A little disappointing when they come to the end. Looking forward to more from Rie
