Honestly I've had such a great time with this game in the first couple hours, but there is one thing Cassette Beasts has done so far that I can't get enough of. Extremely Minor Spoilers Ahead. (Up until the first part of the "On our best behavior" quest) There are some sections that seem to intentionally play on horror, and I've only had them boosted to even greater heights by the... Wongness mixed with nostolgia I feel during certain parts of the game. This might just be me finally being old enough to feel actual nostalgia for media to use, but its been almost stomach churningly difficult to play for me sometimes. It feels almost sickening sometimes because I know deep down that I'm going to really love the story of this game and there's nothing I can do about it. I've also managed to fight a second archangel and it seems Morganite wasn't alone in her presentaion. They capatalize on a feeling of just... Incorrectness, like they weren't made for the world they're in. P.S. (TW: Mention of Cutting) I'm gonna be serious this song helped trigger some deep introspection, it... Made me realize that despite all my lows in life, all the lost friendships, failed relationships, and even cutting I'd gladly go through all that hardship again just to be here, right now, in this mindset. I know there's going to be more of that bad stuff in the future, but I feel more confident in my ability to not succumb to misery. I'm not gonna give the game credit for everything. I've worked pretty dang hard to get where I am, but this game was the final piece i feel like, to have that introspection.
