46 year old here and I decided to get back on my bike April of last year(2023) after about a 13 year hiatus and it's been the best decision for my mental health along with the physical benifit. Don't hesitate! You'll be pleasantly surprised with how much comes back and how quickly.
One of my most memorable races was when I raced this 70 year old dude in a Mercedes SLK55 on an empty twisty highway. We were neck and neck even though my car had a superior power/weight ratio. I ended up winning at the last moment and he gave me a thumbs up and I’ll remember that forever. Never too old to enjoy the things you love.

That thing you did, spinning the frame around the handlebar/forks assembly while doing a stall is just the kind of trick I think is so cool. Technical and kind of oldschool with a unique vibe. You make me wish I had stayed more active, man. I hope you never stop until you can't ride a bike anymore. What a legend.

Even things like lawnmowers they just freak and then they want you to show them how to do it and it’s just a good time! Young and old the bike bridges the gap!

I do similar sessions but without the 180-360. I love street riding cause you find bumps in the sidewalk that you can get lift or other obstacles like little fences or rails to mash on. 45 years old and the only guy in my city of 5k who rides an e-skate. On my long board I can beat any car in town off the line.😂thought after a couple years I’d inspire someone to buy one, but not yet. Almost 2000 miles between my two boards and I love riding them more than my motorcycle.

I'm happy for you Frank Larson. You understand that with the bullshit in the World, people don't like to see others happy. It gave me great happiness to see you rippin it up. I do similar sessions but without the 180-360. I love street riding cause you find bumps in the sidewalk that you can get lift or other obstacles like little fences or rails to mash on. Love it dude, keep being awesome you. Peace man, from a fellow senior BMXer. I suggest to buy 2-3 used frames and build them so that your never bored and some spray paint.
I think it's the people beaten down into conformity that are the saddest and tend to lash out at people like us. You know, the ones that never chose their own paths. They need to try and make themselves happy instead of judging others.

45 years old and the only guy in my city of 5k who rides an e-skate. On my long board I can beat any car in town off the line.😂thought after a couple years I’d inspire someone to buy one, but not yet. Almost 2000 miles between my two boards and I love riding them more than my motorcycle.

At 45 myself i skateboard and inline skate and seem to get nothing but love from inside the community, a few odd looks from those who don't understand but i don't care, what the hell are they doing with their lives i will keep going as long as i can as there is no age limit on having fun

Luckily the stigma isn’t as bad now. I was a skateboarder at 18 and people were like “what the hell you still do this?” Now with more skate parks popping up where I live there’s less of a stigma of skating or riding bmx finally. I’m 34 and just started bmxing a few years ago

Yeah man! I am 47 and still ride wild mtb pulling wheelies etc......get called allsorts, i laugh, just learned to ride a unicycle this week! This riding keeps us fit and we still get the buzz!
