- Tank our 8 week old rottweiler puppy gets his first bath in our kitchen sink. Tank has been enjoying his new home and have lots of fun running the house and yard.
Tank has been enjoying chasing our three cats around the house as well as playing with all of his toys.

I got my first rottie in 1984 and still have a rottie to this day.
I grew up with them as well, my wife wanted to get a dog and I agreed as long as it was a rottweiler

At that age and size I just took the dog in the shower with me and held it. Later it would enter the tub on command. The dog never cared for it but accepted it.
Yeah he loves the tub and will jump in anytime you tell him, all smiles.
Our doberman required two people to bath. One to hold him in the tub and the other to wash him.
As tank got older he fell in love with baths and the water. So now if you say bath he will jump in the tub.
....did you get it or did your dogs have the pups? Because 100 percent don't take any puppy before at least 10 weeks, 12 is better..They aren't cats lol, they need that socialization. Cute pupper.

Their so easy to love; our Boy Bear is ok getting washed but he's a 'toe-rag' when it comes to having his Eagle Talons trimmed
Give him plenty of love,attention,company and activity and he will flourish; get him meeting people and animals and he will be fine (and that's not me being patronising or bossy)

His tail was cropped when we got him, but it is very common in his breed to cut their tails.

@@chialike138 A dog supply store doesn't sell tubs and/or grooming supplies for animals? I am not giving you a hard time, I just have a level of concern with all these unexplained parasites and pestilence in existence.
The direction to use the sink was give by his vet, with the stipulations that it is cleaned before and after.
I don't know what's wrong with people talking about giving a bath to a dog... My family got dogs long time and if they aren't completely covered with mud they don't get a bath. And if they are we just used clear water. Everything else ruins the natural protection of the fur and so bacteria can work. None of our dogs smelled bad with this technic.
If u wanna do something good to your dog, don't wash him if it's not really needed, better take a good dog brush.
At this point our dog had been wiped off and brushed many times, we rarely wash him. We know his skin produces natural oils to help his fur, as well he receives supplements to boost that. He is a happy, healthy boy.

Yes, the sink was cleaned before and after his first bath. Since then he goes in the tub or his pool for his bath.
