This product is amazing. I played at a church this sunday and they used klang. I was super impressed. It sounded like i was not even using in ears. everything sounded amazing.
for someone who is just getting into in ear monitoring as a performer, I thought this video was awesome! I'm going to download the app and give it a good listening!
I have recently got myself two splitters and a digital mixer to create my own independent in ear mix ( FINALLY :D ). As a drummer I have every single drum, guitars and vocals each in a separate channel. Please correct me if I'm wrong but I do believe, that you can achieve this effect by just placing instruments in a spectrum from left to right on your console ( panorama ). It did seem to me that placing that vocal up front, back, up and down is ''just'' a matter of EQ changes. At least that's what my ears were telling me.. :) NONETHELESS... :) Having this option LITERALLY in a finger tip, is just GENIAL and VERY PRACTICAL idea.. Because who.. whoooo would want to work and possibly need to re-work so often each mix situation by changing all the panoramas AND EQs of each channel, when this app together with their device will do it for you in such and COMFORTABLE , SIMPLE and EASY way.. RESPECT GUYS!!!! ;-) Not to mention the other features like the sensor to your head phones.. really COOL!!!!
very nice. with a good hifi system over normal speakers, you can hear the 3D effect too. it's a bit like QSOUND used by f.e. roger water, amused to death.
We were learning about this in our sound reinforcement class last semester and today I'm coming back to it. Does this technology work only with in-ear monitoring or does it work in studio monitor applications too? Thanks
Oumm Actually as sound engineer we know what is happening It reminds me when I designed lift sound by eq and reverb and pan 😜 Higher pich feels top lower pich feels down But i lile it in total its myb good for who want both ear … My believe is kinda different . About philosophy of hearing and hearing for musicL shows .
Ok, it definitely gets wider and more 3D. But I also hear very distinct comb filter effects that I personally find pretty disturbing. Also the elevation didn't really work well for me. It's really hard to mimic that effect because vertical location comes from how our ears are shaped. To make it work really well, the programm would have to create an individual profile for each listener.

Amazing stuff. This is definitely the way to go, as far as in ear monitoring is concerned!

Matthis Schwarz i don't think he did a demo of the depth mode.
unless your talking aboyt when you tried the demo yourself, then ok
Just sounds like the difference between a crap mix and a good mix.
That's a shitty mono mix you're playing in stereo. Not to mention the volume difference. Your product is good, no need to play these cheap tricks.
