Buddhism is subtle and spontaneous liberation path is the highest it is not that easy to understand . One can not understand buddhism by just reading Buddhist text there are viberbal tradition which is kept secret .And every Buddhist lineage follow the three steps sil, samadhi and pragya . Samatha samadhi are practiced earlier in buddhism and for mahayana practicioner 4 th level of roop samadhi is base and one has to do basita ( to be in samadhi as long as one wish to be ) .
