Chris left about April or May of 2016. Chance's first concert with them was, I believe, July 2016. He carried the bass nicely in while Tim was singing. this was shot in the Austrian Alps. This song was the first time I actually heard Adam singing. Man has a BEAUTIFUL voice. When I first started watching them, I thought that Adam looked like Jeff Dunham. That last song was "My Church."
Gotta do the off mic version from Kearney Mo I know you love the raw stuff and this is a great example. A storm canceled their show so they sang this under a pavilion for the crowd.
I 100% agree with this, the lightning even makes the light above flicker once during the song...it just gives it more meaning. It is amazing how great they sound...this is when you know Nick, it really is all them, and bells & whistles...these guys truly are that gifted.
Nick, Chance joined the group right away, and the 1st recording they did with Chance is a cover of a Shakira hit from the movie trolls, called Try Everything. You see Chance with a grin from ear to ear throughout the video, especially on his solo part. You get the feeling he knew he'd found a real home for his voice. As for this one, it's an old Swedish Hymn and was translated to English around the turn of the century. It's a modern standard in most Christian Churches, both Catholic or Protestant.
I believe Chance's first live, public performance came a year after he officially joined. They gave him time to learn, shadow the guys, and feel comfortable. There is a fan-shot video of him doing his very first live performance with them at the Minnesota Zoo. Fact check me. The spirit is willing but the coffee was weak this morning.

Was only eating one meal a day & hustling on Ebay to sell things to keep the phone on, internet on & lights on...tough times make tough people - you just keep plugging on hoping things turn around. It was actually a huge Country Music Festival. And it's no wonder they loved it there so much, it was absolutely gorgeous - our whole family are still planning to go back for a short trip sometime...

Yes, mid-2016 was when Chris left and Chance joined the group. The very first video Chance did with the group was "Try Everything" and it still is one of my favorites. This one definitely makes me emotional--and HF does that SO well. Besides the unbelievable harmonies--and gorgeous backdrop of the Austrian Alps (same general area "The Sound of Music" movie was filmed)--getting to hear Adam Rupp's sweet tenor actually singing is a real treat ❤️🎼🥰🎶❤️

Now she regularly asks if I want to show the youtube video and you notice that it touches her. She has recommended it herself in her church community. But that's what Home Free does to you. Go to their "in the vault" of the behind the scenes of this song and you'll see Adam's hair down and they compare him to the bad guy from Ghostbusters 2. It's funny as all get out. Yes this the rare opportunity to hear Adam's beautiful voice. I've requested this be sung at my funeral but only if it's by my boys. Not in person of course. Loved this scenery as this is the homeland of my ancestors. They said my great grandmother wanted to live at the base of the Teton mountains( Wyoming)because it reminded her of the Alps.
