I really don't understand what has happened to Akshay Kumar's style..I mean he himself was a different genre.. I always enjoyed his previous movies of 90’s & 2000’s.. His performances used to elevate every illogically made comedy movies..but recently I don’t what has effected his choice of scripts.. He is a great actor, I think he should be more careful of what he is giving his fans to watch😢
Even the most illogically mind numbing comedy movie was fun with him. It seems he and SRK are literally looking back towards action cinema and are trying to bring their old style into fruition when it is already dead enough to be considered a fossil.
It's working for SRK not for Akki. SRK tried experimental movies like Fan and Zero but failed same cannot be said for Akshay as he is not experimenting at all.

@khanshoyeb7 The thing is that SRK he knows his fan perfectly. He knows many follow him for his romantic movies. That is why many of his movies, whether action or not, always have some sort of romance.
While Akshay does have some action fans from the 90s. Many of the fans know him from comedy movies. His modern fans know him from movies such as Tees Mar Khan, Welcome, Hera Pheri, etc. So his sudden plan to change genre and choose more serious ones makes little sense. Not only thathis action is 90s masala action.
The charm has left him quite a long time, and he should just retire, in my opinion, too.
To Summarise: Khan knows his fanfare very well and gives both his new action fans and old romantic fans the movie they want. While AK has already lost his charm and had failed to understand his audience and should just retire.
@@AStoryteller-for-fun same thing happened with srk few years back when everyone was advising him to take age appropriate role or to retire because nothing was working for him then after pathaan everybody started praising him samay acha hota hai toh gadha phi godha lagta hai agar samay karab ho toh Sher ko kutte se bhi bura treatment milta hai srk was trolled earlier now everybody is silent.same will happen with Akshay one film which clickes with audience and he will be back he audience still want to see him omg 2 is a big example

I feel one of the worst probelms currently with Indian cinema is predictability , they should try to make something on the lines of game of thrones where everything is unexpected and any of the protagonist can die .... This might create an interesting movie
Bhai dange ho jaane he desh me esa kuch bna toh Padmavat wagera me dekha tha na 😂 , GOT ke level pe aur upar se kayi ye actors bhi dhachiya udaa dete he apne character ko bada dikhane ke chakkar me ya faaltu show off. Koi bhi reference liya toh political party bhi kuch bhi bolne lag jayege ki log apni sanskriti bhul rahe wagera.

I think there's also a tendency to make multi-starred films only when the genre is primarily focussing on action, that too played generally by two male protagonists. Sure, there are exceptions including movies like Fighter, but we can not immediately think of any other examples featuring power dynamics of any other kinds. Like, it's even wayyy harder to find a good movie dealing with a good female antagonist ( yes, I was kind of disheartened with the treatment of Junoon in Brahmastra part 1).
Hope we can see other multi-starred films as well where the characters are actually given space to depict their own development (like in the movie Piku).
How can you even compare a film like Piku with this junk. That was a film for people with a brain.

Strangely Bollywood was making better choices about commercial movies and storylines in general back in the 2000s & 2010s than now!
I call it the "SS Rajmouli effect" that has made Indian cinema dumber ...
Instead of this same repeated "DeshBhakt" plot BMCM could have been made like Rush Hour Series or The Nice Guys type comedy film where it has 2 main lead actors and the Chemistry and Comedy between them is what makes the film special you know where am I heading with this

I m not a fan of kdramas but tje story line and character development is shown perfectly in most of k movies and dramas. Bollywood should learn few things from them.

Actually yogi baba now a days templates will be repeated and story might be same , it must happen because ideas have reached a saturation point . It's not the problem of Bollywood, its the problem of south too . But still now people like south movies having same concepts because the makers have conviction towards their movies but Bollywood has lost that and thats why people notice such things .
Ideas can never reach a saturation point, its just lack of good ideas

No Ideas have not reached the saturation point buddy it's the lack of good ideas.....BMCM could have been made like Rush hour series or The Nice guys where the Comedy and Chemistry between the 2 lead roles is what makes the Film Special and worth watching again and again but BMCM decided to stick to that "Deshbhakt" Plot🤡

I would definitely say that Siddharth Anand is the only one who fully utilised the full potential of Tiger Shroff, but that's the point he needs to do more greyish characters rather than a good happy-go-lucky wet his killing is totally justified type of character.

I think that they should divulge their focus from action movies. Bring something new, like a thriller with multiple stars in it. a.k.a. Murder Mubarak which recently released on Netflix. That was a wonderful film and now a days it feels like Maddock Studios are the only ones who at least want to take risks. Sure, not all their movies are good but every now and then they'll simply nail one so damn perfectly and that is the beauty of experimenting with a multitude of concepts. We should get films with less broader but more personal stakes that tell a more personal story. Preferably one which gives ample time for character development with a cast that can manage nuanced acting.

Bhaagi - varsham ( One of best prabhas ever gave in telugu industry which is far far better even though it was released in 2004 than this gymnastics movie released in 2016, movie was dubbed into tamil and odia which are also far better than bhaagi)
Bhaagi 2 - kshanam (Bruh....😭. This is reportedly a hit/superhit movie copied from kshanam which is also box office hit in telugu industry starring advi shesh {hero of major and goodachari} compared to kshanam bhaagi 2 is cringe asf)
bhaagi 3 - vettai (tamil movie starring madhavan and arya was industry hit aswell . Its better/healthy to not compare this with a great film like vettai🤧)

Aur dono heroes ko hi bas India ke best soldiers jaise show Kiya ...jabki unko waisa dikhana tha to unko bhi buildup dete ..unke regiment ko display krte trainings dikhate like commando movie...tab jake wo lagte ki Meta Humans ko takkar de rahe hain.... overall har chij ko thode buildup ki need thi ... movie 3+ hrs ki hoti to bhi chalta kyunki technical concept achha tha.
