- Sometimes the word free gives red flags. We showed this owner there was no flag just beautiful clean concrete.
We use essential pool cleaner on the concrete for cleaning. This is a chlorinating liquid that can be purchased at any local Wal-mart. If you are unable to find it you can substitute it with bleach.

Totally agree, because the lucky people that receive the free clean either can’t afford to pay someone or they would do it themselves if they were physically capable. So definitely not taking work from anyone. Two of us can’t be wrong. I know for a fact I’m rarely wrong 😝😎😂

I had some one pay for my groceries last month. that was so nice. I said thank you but I just was overwhelmed, and a man mowed my front yard for me last month also. wow. I prayed for them and their families.

This is one of those times that power washing make a "night and day" change. Nice find, it will help the people. Like the new cleaning head. Smooth look! Doing the patio, you could see someone had been dreaming. Hope your work helps bring their dreams back to life. That would be marvelous to renew the parking area, nice you figured out it wasn't asphalt. Can I add a cheat? A friend looks for flowers at the $1 store and then puts out seasonal decorations for the neighborhood. Those patio planters would look cute with some fake flowers. Maybe the parking is a "start with the pool mix first" place?

I just found the channel and it´s such a great thing you do! Also remember that even if people seem ungrateful or less than appreciative it could simply be because some are not used receiving anything for free and may not feel worthy of it. Hopefully it´ll inspire them to do something for someone else and before you know it the world is one kind place :-)
Another fine cleaning job Robert and Dawn, the surface cleaner seems to be a little bit better than your old Briggs and Stratton, you still need to get a turbo nozzle for when you have a senior moment and forget to bring the surface cleaner, you'll love using one, and when are you going to pressure wash the chicken shed/grandkids play house? That's a video I want to see
It's baffling how dirty that driveway was.
@@neemtreebark , I've seen worse, take in to consideration that there are trees and bushes in close proximity and the usage of the driveway area probably hasn't been cleaned since it was first poured, I do hope Robert and Dawn go back and video the cleaning, it will be a real eye opener to just how much filth is deposited on flat surfaces on a daily, weekly and yearly scale, the driveway in question probably hasn't been cleaned in decades,

@@CabinontheHill Amen! There’s a huge difference between needs vs wants. I grew up a pastor’s kid and while we didn’t get all the stuff our friends did, we never lacked for anything vital. I’ve now passed that onto my kids. They’ve been given a slightly easier go at life, but only because of the jobs I’ve worked to be in a better financial position. They respect the fact that everything they’ve been given is due to how hard my wife and I worked.
I’m enjoying watching you guys giving back to the community around you. There are so many people hurting right now. A little act of kindness could be the one thing that keeps them moving forward in life.

Power washer looks like it’s easier and quicker then the scrubber plus you don’t have to use the chemicals.

Does a power wash work on grease stains? I have spots all over my driveway 😭 and I don’t know how to get rid of them. Ps I love how the stains just come off like butter 🧈 great job!!
I'm not sure how well it will work but it should dull them. Grease and oil are a bit more work than dirt, moss, and mildew. My dad used harsher chemicals on hard stains when he was working, You will have to research it. I do know the chemicals he used were some type of acid and very dangerous if used incorrectly.
@@CabinontheHill thank you for the great advice! The acid chemical sounds tempting to use but knowing me I’ll spill it all over my driveway 😄. I’ll probably use rust oleum or tide with a power wash. Thanks again 🙌

It looks like exposed aggragate ! It’s especially damaged, use your brush and prepare for flying sand! Sugar is sprayed on the top as it’s curing revealing the rocks! Slick as snot too LOL

Are you putting the cleaner in the soap tank or spraying it on with a garden sprayer? My front walk could use a little love. Is it safe on field stone, blue stone I think?
After cleaning we use a chlorine/water solution and spray it with the garden sprayer. This shouldn't hurt stone but make sure to water down any plants or grass around the area being sprayed so they dont die off.
@@CabinontheHill thanks. My front walk is concrete but I have a Pa blue stone walk that goes around the house. After mowing a wet lawn several times this summer the stone is getting a pretty good covering of moss, dried up like barnacle. I’m waiting on parts for my pressure washer but I’ll definitely give it a try. Thanks

Can't believe how black the sidewalks can get. Never seen that here in Colorado. Maybe we scrap off the gunk everytime we shovel off the snow 🤣🤣🤣 or our tree's leaves don't stain like they do in your area. We don't get the algae and moss because we're dry/semi-desert.
Our humidity and the tannins in the leaves make a nasty mess
