    As a dancer what he did was low key dangerous she could have landed wrong and could have sprained or broke her ankle . He was wrong y’all are not dancers so y’all wouldn’t understand that it could have went wrong for her . Cut her some slack ! She could have handled it different but she did what she felt like was right at the time !

      It was really THAT hard for you to admit she was outta pocket, huh? The player was focused on the game and didn't mean to kick her. If you support women with unmitigated emotions, just say that! I'm willing to bet $100 you act just like her

      she should have been kicked out of the gym just for standing in wrong palce and getting in the way. A player could have been seriously hurt because of her. And by coming onto the court, she sould have been kicked off the cheerleading squad.

    • @Pgschool37
      @Pgschool37 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      Your sister said exactly what I was thinking. She was definitely in the wrong area of the court to be kick-jumping. I was expecting her to be apologetic due to her kicking him. She didn't really ensure she had enough space & was in the place before this all happened. You could tell he was really into the game & not purposefully/accidentally causing harm.

    I’m from Alabama. This young lady was way out of order. Everyone knows if you’re on the floor it’s a possibility that you could get hit by the ball, referee, a player, etc. it’s all apart of the game. I’ve NEVER seen anyone walk out on the court to confront a player. She was dead wrong because he was just playing the game. To be honest as a cheerleader you know NOT to stand too close to the goal bc you can get in harms way. I was a cheerleader myself & it has always been a rule. 💯💯💯

      I am a 59 year old woman, and I agree with you. Younger women anymore, in my opinion, feel free to take their anger out on any man and not expect repercussions.
      I grew up in an era when a guy could slap a woman around and the law kind of turned a blind eye on things like domestic battery. Some even felt it was a husband's right to discipline his wife...and boyfriends, took on that same attitude too.
      So in the back of our minds...the women of my era...knew if you slapped a guy or pushed one, there could be repercussions.
      I don't think the women in today's society really have that mindset anymore, as so many guys now are raised to believe it's a bad thing to hit a woman. She's lucky he didn't send her ass flying back out of bounds...for the push and the attitude she was directing his direction. .

      @@wadestanton Hopefully with any clips of the players, people will be impressed by their sportsmanship and talents : )
      Most people seeing her behavior are disgusted by it. I wish all of our society could see this kind of behavior and let those who behave like that, understand that it's unacceptable. And... set examples to correct such behavior.
      I still think this woman should be kicked off the squad, and ordered to go to an anger management course. Pointing out bad behavior isn't enough....there should be consequences.

    • @StormyPeak
      @StormyPeak ปีที่แล้ว

      @@wadestanton You're a fking hypocrite in telling Me not to judge others when you out-right started your reply by judging my user name.
      My name, comes from a nearby mountain that the northern storms roll over before hitting the valley I live in. I grew up camping, fishing, hiking and hunting on that mountain, the area holds a lot of special memories for me.
      My dad's ashes are scattered up on that mountain near a beautiful, fast flowing creek and a patch of aspen, surrounded by lodge pole pines. I also buried the first dog I ever owned up on that mountain..... I had her for 16 years, from the 6th grade into my adult hood.
      Names don't mean shit....but actions do..
      That girl's actions were horrible. Someday in anger, she's going to push the wrong guy and end up with 3 or 4 teeth laying on the ground. That young man did NOTHING wrong.
      That young man in the clip, he was there to play basketball, that is what people showed up to watch...she's the sideline show and was Not paying attention to what the athletes on the court were doing. Her Fault. She needs a gentler wake up call than she's going to get by continuing to act the way she did.
      Again, a combo of consequences should be used: She loses her spot on the squad and gets some help in the form of anger management classes could benefit her in the long run. She might not learn a thing, but then she might....but the only way to find out is to expose her to the idea that she just can't do whatever she wants and think she can always get away with it.

    Good for you and your correct take on the situation! Proud of Dailin for not retailating! As a past cheerleader, I cannot believe that her coach/sponsor hadn't previously instructed the cheerleaders where they are supposed to be, how the game works. I am in AL, but if I were in MS, my feelings on this would be the same. As for what the consequences should be for her actions, I say it depends on whether she still feels like she is in the right, and whether she has realized that she is in the wrong. If she has apologized to the player and the coaches for her behavior, and realizes that she was wrong-then ground her for a few games (attendence mandatory, but not allowed to cheer with team-benched). If she still behaves in an entitiled fashion, then remove her from the team, along with no yearbook pics acknowledgement, etc.
