The original Killer Bean from 1996 was rendered at 320x240 resolution, and recorded on VHS tape. This remastered version was upscaled to 4K, and de-noised using AI.

I remember when this first came out! I used Animation Master back in the day too. I miss that program, it was way more user friendly than blender ( even though it wasn't as powerful ) but it worked for my projects. This makes me want to get back into animation.

The most likely scenario here is that Killer Bean 2/Killer Bean Forever (they take place in the same time era) is after a major crisis, a huge impact on the environment turning all Jelly Beans into Coffee Beans. Due to unrest and gang wars after this rapid change the Shadow Bean agency, which was previously a small enterprise before, became the most powerful agency on the planet with assassins' better than those in 1st world countries. This can easily explain the amount of different gang wars happening in the KB universe currently
