Loved the segment on the differences between Canadian and American media coverage of hockey. It's fascinating to see how regional biases influence perceptions of the game. Serena and Rod's chemistry, combined with their in-depth knowledge, makes this podcast a must-listen for any hockey fan.
Ben's introduction always sets a great tone for the podcast! The dynamic between Serena and Rod is fantastic, especially with Rod bringing his Canadian perspective. Their discussion on the officiating and the nuances of the game is always insightful and keeps me coming back for more.
The way Serena passionately defends the Oilers is infectious! It's great to hear such dedication and love for the team, even when they're facing tough situations. The balance between her and Rod's more neutral stance makes for a well-rounded and engaging discussion.
Congrats on the podcast award! It's well-deserved considering the high-quality content you deliver. I appreciate how you guys cover not just the Panthers and Lightning but give a comprehensive overview of NHL events. The insights and personal anecdotes really add depth to the episodes.
Rod's perspective on the Drysdale hit and the overall physicality of the game was eye-opening. It's refreshing to have a podcast that doesn't shy away from controversial topics and gives a balanced view. Serena's emotional investment in the Oilers adds a nice contrast and makes the discussion more vibrant.
Intent to injure? How often is a high stick intentional? Whether Leon meant to injure , his forearm landed on Barkov’s chin. I’m 63, I’ve watched hockey in Florida, BC, Alaska and Washington state. Minors, collegiate, semi pro and NHL games. Don’t tell me this doesn’t matter to me.
You can take your condescending entitled attitude back to Canada, Serena. Been watching and supporting the Cats for 30 years. Through the 10 year playoff appearance drought. Through 26 years without a playoff series win. Through the terrible owners who didn’t give a damn about this team or its fans. The 1996 and 2003 cup loses devastated me. Don’t think for one second that Florida Panther fans are any less passionate about their team than you are about the Oilers. Disgraceful that you run a show called catsnbolts.
Congratulations on the award, you guys deserve it for the great content!

Puck was across the blue line. Deal with it. It’s just like when a player dumps the puck deep from the red line. It’s an eyed call from the ref.
Yay rod is back

You can say the Panthers "pounce" on any mistakes 😂
The hooking call on Chucky 😂 Just a joke.
It for sure was a dirty hit by draisaitl. They know they can’t beat the panthers evenly, so they went to take out barkov
Appreciate the balanced views on the Drysdale hit.
Totally agree with Rod, the officiating can be so inconsistent in the playoffs.
#TimetoHunt #GoCats🏒 🎉🎉🎉
