I was looking for a tutorial, then I saw your cover and everything was suddenly crystal clear :D Congrats and thanx.
Btw, this is just an instinctive guess as a long time Maiden fan, I'm almost sure Adrian specifically asked Nicko for something with lots of toms especially the floor.
He and Clive had very good synergy , so H wanted something similar with lots of toms and groove. Maybe, he'd even written the song before Clive left.
