I agree with your view in GOT flaws and also just SP NPC/uses for the open world development in general. NPC’s could be much more interesting, interactive, etc. while their choices of open world missions/use, I think, needs to vary a bit more. Besides side missions (which were generally fine) there’s only a few types of things to actually do and they’re mostly kind of a grab and go deal. Swords, foxes, shrines, etc. I think they built on that foundation with the extra side stuff in Iki island I’m a good way (PS exclusive outfit puzzles, archery contests, playing music for animals and unwritten tales). Im almost willing to excuse the superficiality of the minor side stuff in the game because it’s the first of at least two games for them and I feel that we should understand that GOT1 is a foundation for what’s to come. The main things I’m looking for in the second one is what I put up above and more populated areas, reminiscent of something like RDR2, while maintaining that original feel of riding your horse through these beautifully picturesque meadows and forests. I also will be hoping that they put the ability to use different weapons and the ability to actually make a nuanced, tapered build through larger skill trees/paths.
If you going to play a team ninja game for the graphics just save your money, if you want a more engaging battles, endless combo capabilities and deep combat mechanics Rise of the ronin is the game for you.
that's why I'm going to play rise of the ronin for first time this weekend. imo the horse models in rise of the ronin look better than GOT that's why I walked everywhere I went I couldn't stand to look at the horse.the combat in ROTR is what I wanted in GOT but never got it. and I'll be glad I won't be following a golden bird all over hells creation.
I think that game design and art design is much more important than graphics, but that doesn't excuse a generational difference in technical quality that can be seen, a bunch of games can have worlds as big as this one and have even better graphical quality and more stable performance with less visual bugs. Graphical fidelity being the last priority on the list doesn't excuse them from not keeping up with the times. Change the engine or hired more staff for that.
Yea GoT looks like Ps4 the graphics look low but if your uploading the video at 720 it's going to look low too. If there both PS5 well I still need to see the game in a true 4k That is the Ronin, I have the GoT game ps5 and on my 65 inch looks awesome.
It’s funny to see these inane little details compared in not just this video, but others as well - yet I still haven’t seen a video comparing the depth of combat, the brutality of the ai, the amount of combat styles available. But yeah, damnit, the arrows don’t break apart! Guess that trivializes how much more fun the combat systems are. It’s fun to think about the fact that even team ninja’s worst game in years: Wo Long even had had better combat and bosses than GoT.
Maybe only me but I do feel Rise of the Ronin more like what I would see in real life Japan at that time. And GoT more like what I usually see in movie nowaday.
Ghost is my favorite game hands down. Literally playing it again front scratch. The ronin one I haven’t played yet but looks to be more of an assassin’s creed look to it..?

that's why I'm going to play rise of the ronin for first time this weekend. imo the horse models in rise of the ronin look better than GOT that's why I walked everywhere I went I couldn't stand to look at the horse.the combat in ROTR is what I wanted in GOT but never got it. and I'll be glad I won't be following a golden bird all over hells creation.
@@cartoonvideos5then why the literal fuck im paying 70 bucks right? I mean I would gladly take this on a PS4 but ps5? Haha
Rotr seems to focus more on gameplay diversity and flashy moves while GoS focus more on grounded smoothness
Ghost Of Tsushima Is Better.
0:16 LOL, left foot consumed by the stone. 😂
Yea GoT looks like Ps4 the graphics look low but if your uploading the video at 720 it's going to look low too. If there both PS5 well I still need to see the game in a true 4k That is the Ronin, I have the GoT game ps5 and on my 65 inch looks awesome.
Watch when rise of ronin come to pc graphics going to be crazy
Not only graphics are inferior in ROTR but the artstyle looks pale
Chromatic palette in ronin is way too off
GOT definitely a better looking and more atmospheric game but I like Ronin better personally. World is more alive with urban areas.
ROTR only makes me want to see Edo, Kyoto and Yokohama in GOT. But ROTR is still a good time period in the history of Japan.
Got has better lighting and thats it face model ror is better foliage or water even rain drops in ror is more realistic i dont know why people hate it
It’s funny to see these inane little details compared in not just this video, but others as well - yet I still haven’t seen a video comparing the depth of combat, the brutality of the ai, the amount of combat styles available.
But yeah, damnit, the arrows don’t break apart! Guess that trivializes how much more fun the combat systems are. It’s fun to think about the fact that even team ninja’s worst game in years: Wo Long even had had better combat and bosses than GoT.
Cant wait for the pc release
Maybe only me but I do feel Rise of the Ronin more like what I would see in real life Japan at that time. And GoT more like what I usually see in movie nowaday.
Those who wanted a great samurai game already took the dose with Ghost of Tsushima, which put others crap to shame.
Ghost of Sushiman only has graphics going for it though. Rise of Ronin already has the better gameplay.
Ghost of Tsushima only has better graphics, how does that put other games to shame especially when Rise of the Ronin has better gameplay?
"Better gameplay" 😂
@@Ezek-rg6kdBetter story, better atmosphere, better world, better characters and a good combat system.
GOT has the dumbest AI ive ever seen since Zero Dawn bandits
Ghost is my favorite game hands down. Literally playing it again front scratch. The ronin one I haven’t played yet but looks to be more of an assassin’s creed look to it..?
assassins creed will release their version staged in feudal japan and no one will remember RotR even existed. It will absolutely bury it.
Covardia.
¡buen video! 👍
Very nice 👍🏻 keep up
should mention that Ronin runs at DVD resolution though.
game is very fun though not everything is graphics
Ghost of tsushima is the perfect example of "let him cook"
They cooked a banger
7/10
the only thing not to love about ghost of tsushima is the damn camera. it's just way too close ALL the time
We gave that game to bluelpoint and they make a remake like demon souls for us 😂.
Jokes beside this game is absolute fun
I like the combat more on got
Ghost of Tushima looks more Realistik for me then Rise of the Ronin ( looks more like FinalFantasy or Like a Dragon "realistik"Anime Style ) ...but Rise of the Ronin has diffrent Game Play then Ghost of Tushima what also looks Kind of Fun.Compared to StarFields Chars and Animations Rise of the Ronin looks also more then beautyfull to me 😊So my plan is buying DragonsDogma2 first tommorow maybe..then StellarBlade then Rise of the Ronin
Joder , cuando Ghost of tsushima 2?
I play game if gameplay is good. I don't care about graphic at all. I still can play Tenchu from Play Station 1, or Dragon Valor or Metal Gear, Final Fantasy I to IX... don't care about graphic design.
Dos juegazos cada uno por lo suyo
Doesn't matter that it doesn't look as good. The gameplay is way more fun in Rise of the Ronin. So are thr boss battles. Check out some of the training vids on the highest difficulty I posted on my page!
🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
Ronin made me want to play ghost of tsushima again
Platinei.
👏🏻👏🏻
for a ps4 game its still look good cant wait for ghost pc release and its prob just me but the horse running animation in ronin looks weird
will Rise of the Ronin come to pc?
Ronin graphics is looks like HD version of PS3 games
The PS4 was such a fun console, so many great games. PS5 has been disappointing in that regard thus far.
Vídeo definitivo de comparação.
Ronin melhor texturas e água.
Ghost of tsushima melhor iluminação, física, particulas, detalhes, animação.
Ambos fracos em interação.
Yoko taro generalised that a lot of japenese devs have an English language barrier which makes it difficult for them to integrate themselves with the latest gaming engine and instead they default to legacy engines that they are used to. This can explain why games coming out of team ninja look fairly dated. Nier automata is another example. Also From software games. Demon souls remake looks great but i think was also not developed by the japenese studio, see the trend here?
Definitely difference in graphics but I'm still loving rise of the ronin. I own both games and they are both beautiful in their own rights respectively
The world in Rise of the ronin is more realistic, locations and npcs.
I'm Japanese.
I think Ronin is closer to real vegetation.
The vegetation in Tsushima is a little unnatural because it's too shiny.
I enjoyed Ronin more in terms of gameplay.
But both are great games.
