Been a fan of this Lady for years now. So much talent and she wears her emotions and scars for anyone to see. She takes the time to interact all the time, and that she wants to help others with not just substance abuse but all of modern life's problems... we have never met in person but she has a friend in me.
The lady is a sweetheart with a heart like few people I’ve met…that’s why I travel to see her whenever I can ….she deserves to fly high which she is beginning to do. Love her lots 🥰xxx Paul
You are incredibly inspiring! I am an ex military member, and I work toward suicide prevention that incorporates the entire show bag of alcohol, toxic relationships, drug abuse, and self harm in many ways. So thank you for being you! and sharing your stories.
Wow, I was a fan of Janet before cos I love her voice and personality, now after watching this , I'm in awe of this amazing and fascinating young lady. She is so inspirational.
I'm an alcoholic. I'm 74 years old now and haven't had a drink for 30 years. But getting to the point of having the courage to walk into that first AA meeting is hard. Very hard. I drank alcohol hard for the entire decade of my 30s while I kept a job as a lawyer in a big Washington DC law firm. Thank you so much Janet Devlin for your courage and your grace.
Thank you for sharing your story. We believe that tales like Janet's and narratives from individuals like yourself can serve as the inspiration and encouragement someone else requires to reach out for help.
Janet was absolutely wonderful to speak with. Sharing her story of her lived experience will give others the courage to get help and share their story.
@@ascertni I agree because talking about things we struggle with to get help seems harder than the actual problem at least to me. She is a good combination of brave, talented, beautiful inside and out. Thank you for the kind reply
I am and was a sh#t show ... a great upbringing from very humble beginnings on both sides ... dad , Swedish / Norwegian ..... mom English / Scottish / Northern Ireland .... I am born in Toronto , Ontario , Canada .... 5 generations on moms sides and 3 on dads side .....went through the typical high school and after party night life .... did the alcohol and recreational drugs .... alcohol and cocaine were my crushes ...... 15 years strong .... 5 off and on..... I stopped doing the drugs .... I am a occasional drinker now ..... been clean off the drugs since 2010 .... I am a Addictions/ Mental Health Intervention Counsellor today .... I am by no means perfect .... but I maintain a positive life style today .... everything is great good in moderation ........

Truly inspiring. Helping others by being open and honest with her story.
She is always moaning just because she got nowhere in her singing career Typical of NI people

well done Janet Maureen, you are sweet as honey and strong as an oak (baby) 😉💜
Coffee Brandy was my jig. Something with Kahlua at Christmas Night. I owed Egg Nog, but oozed milk.
Granted, my innocence I lost.
