    Lighten up Man, You don't own the Lake. When I was You're age I use get upset about stuff like that too. With age You will learn to over look that. No need to get all worked and call People names over Fishing the same area. I'm not trying to be rude or hate on You. Just take the high road and if You got to say something try to do it with respect and kindness. Enjoy the waters and be safe out there.

      He said “I ain’t gonna stop you”, I’m literally gonna fight you if you pull up on me like that. My opinion he was being nice, if you need to fish it go behind.

    Never been on Cumberland but that waterfall looks pretty unique…” a community hole” that are on ever lake. Grass beds on Guntersville, the power plant area on chick. Locals know them and know if they are gonna fish it they will have to share… it’s the visiting anglers to a new lake that think they can fish a community hole by themselves ….

    Was crappie fishing at Mark Twain on main lake about 20 yards off bank. Had a bass boat race by me not 15 yards away. Most fisherman are considerate. But, a-holes exist on every lake.

    You need to relax man. You’re going to run into the wrong person someday that will not take your attitude. That spot was not worth it either!

      Not only was that spot not worth it, that tournament was in no way worth it. Lots of people carry guns and folks tend to be crazy these days.

    That cove looked plenty big enough for two people. If you fish Chick you’ll never get an acre. 100 ft is about it. Especially pre-fishing

    i had a guy come stand right next to me on the rocks fishing (googan) he managed to cast over my line and just as he nearly got his line back i shook my rod and made one hell of a tangle and just shrugged my shoulders .he spent he next 10 minutes trying to untangle lines i had 2 rods with me so just kept fishing with the other one after that he moved

    Your head would explode if you fish Guntersville. I just egnore them and if they cut me off I just cast over their boat. Having a jig slam into your boat as I retrieve it will get someone's attention.

    You're pre fishing its not that big of a deal Bud. He shouldn't have planned to cut you off but that's just the way the cookie crumbles sometimes. "Lesson learned" always start on your intended spot to prevent people going around you and beating you to it. During most bass tournaments 50 feet is the common courtesy rule.

      50 yards… not feet. Lol

    • @doctyler1
      @doctyler1 ปีที่แล้ว

      Exactly! Why all worked up over something so trivial? All of this actually sounds like a you problem. You are giving someone else power over your emotions. You think you are the only person to ever fish that spot? Nope. Nobody ever saw that dude till you initiated contact. Not everyone thinks like you, so perhaps you should learn to relax over things that are just not that big of a deal. Just saying. (I know this is going to cause some backlash, so let it begin)

    • @keithmatthews3750
      @keithmatthews3750 ปีที่แล้ว

      That 50 foot rule “ in small tournaments “ is only in place if the boat is anchored in place…. If your running a bank another boat can pull right beside you and start fishing… you just have to put fish him…

    There is a thing called common courtesy. Its one thing to go in front of a guy,but not that close. I have had some tournament guys do that to me so I get out my paddle and slap the water and the side of my boat as I go around them. I am talking they got close enough I thought they were trying to fish out of my boat.

    These rude fisherman are just getting more and more. This summer was crazy with the number of people who just cut right in front of me. I am so glad it is getting to winter so these weekend warriors do not have the balls to brave the cold. And maybe the lakes will calm down. I am so courteous to fellow fisherman and i just do not understand people who are not.

    Idk why but it seems like a lot of older anglers always seem to do it. You would think they knew better. It's just common sense. If anything just holler and say hey do you mind if I get 100 yards close to you? If you do mind, it's cool. I'll keep moving.
