I have been watching your Kenshi series from episode 1 and I finally caught up to this episode. Just wanna say that when you mentioned about a mod that lets you craft animal armor from gathering their drops like a Skimmer armor set, it actually exist and I have been using it in my current playthrough too! It's called BBgoat's Beastforge on steam workshop. Anyhow, keep up the Kenshi episodes, Shifty!
Glad you've been enjoying the series. :) I'll look it up Beastforge, that's always been something I thought would be cool. I'll probably wait till I've explored the whole world before adding mods, but it's on my list. Hopefully it can be added to an already running world.
@@more_shifty Yes, I have been enjoying the series as a whole! I do wish you could change the playlist order so it goes descending instead of the way it is currently set up that the latest episode begins first, but no biggie and more of a mere inconvenience when I was trying to play them from episode 1. And yep, most of the mods can be added mid-game without much of an issue. You will probably need to do an import save rather than the typical load save from the main menu. Just a note of caution though*, import will despawn a couple of game elements, including dead bodies, random loot that have been discarded outside of storage containers, and npc like contracted mercenaries and kidnapped people outside of prison cages etc. So better to resolve those stuff before any import! *Import will also wipe certain world states, and without diving much into spoiler territory, one of them is erasing all the unique prisoners held inside the Tengu's Vault tower (the one you tried sneaking into this video haha). There are mods that can help reset those state triggers and specifically respawn the affected npcs, but otherwise it can be quite annoying that import would affect this in the first place.
