Really like your outside fabric. You are the only one who I have watched that irons the opening before turning the piece. I started doing that years ago but wondered why nobody else did.
I'm snowed-in in New Hampshire today and came to TH-cam to get ideas for a gift to lift a friend's spirits. I'm fairly new to sewing but this looks like something I can do! And it's something I think she'll love! Thank you for this video! I have now subscribed to your channel. 🙂

Good morning ☕ Love this idea and will certainly be making one as a surprise for hubby who is currently using that book for work. If you could see my ironing board you'd see a rose gold cordless Panasonic iron, hubby bought it last week for me and I love it!😊
Just had a thought.. since there's not enough fabric for a second one out of a fat quarter we could use some to make a matching key fob holder, holders, pen pocket and attach that to the front of book cover, I also saw a pattern for a cord keeper.
I love this idea! This is my next small project on the docket. It’s nice to have these small projects when you need a break from doing quilts. Thank you Sheri you did a terrific job of teaching us how to make the covers. ❤️
What is up with the commercials? I had to watch 2 in a row! I think they are really ramping up the commercials. Of course thank you for the great tutorial. I know you don’t place the ads.
It is so annoying. I truly don’t mind if you skip them. Watching the video until the end is most beneficial for me. You can also sign up for premium and never see another ad again. I benefit from that as well.
