This is perfect for any scraps. Can actually piece squares or strips for the front and back. Best video presentation I’ve seen in a long time. Thank you for making it simple
Love this! I have been making covers but I like how yours have two fabrics on the outside. Mine only had one. Much more interesting. Thank you so much for the video.

Thank you so much, Rosie. I am definitely going to make up a few of these. The closing reminds me of the clutch wallet. I have made several of those.
I am glad to hear you are going to make the project. Please post pics in the group when you do. Yes, the closure is the same technique as the clutch. Thanks for watching!
Great tutorial! Easy for follow. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Beautiful work ❤
Awesome project, Rosie! That will make a nice Christmas gift. I once had a nifty, new little tiny pair of embroidery scissors, I found them on the floor one day with one handle chewed nearly off! My little shadow chihuahua had found them. Lastly, I got a new rotary cutter last week and wore a bandaid on my left middle fingertip all week.. 🙃 Thanks for another awesome pattern, I love the fabric! Jonee
These dogs get themselves into a lot of trouble, but I could never live without them…lol. Thanks for watching!
Not only do I like the pattern but the fabrics as well! And yes, I do have. You almost lost me sf hand stitching but as you explained it can’t be seen, sew I will try this! Thanks much
The hand stitching really is not hard. Thanks for watching!
@@RosiesArtStudioI know it’s just my hands are getting crippled sew I try not to hand sew! 60 + years ago was easy, now not sew much. Thank You

Rosie, the hidden turning opening is fabulous! The rest of the pattern is too but that hidden opening!!!
I've done two like this now, and I've looked at other videos of the same project, with different twists and spins, but I come back to yours because it is calm and I can follow it without getting turned around. Thank you for that!!!

Thank you ❤
You are welcome and thanks for watching!
Made one today, but with interfacing on each piece it made it kinda bulky at the seems, had to trim the cover a little to fit it in, but it is super cute and I’ll be making more! Thank you!
I am going to make one of these for my boss for Christmas.
That will be a lovely gift. Thanks for watching!
Thankyou Rosie, just finished my first book cover as a last minute gift just need to hand stitch closing. Any ways wanted to let you know my book has 200 pages, and it worked out great thanks again Lou
Wonderful! Thanks for watching!
love those fabric prints. Looks like Tula Pink fabrics? You give very detailed and clear instructions. Thank you!
Thank you.
You're welcome! Thanks for watching!
Rosie, I just discovered your channel and spent the afternoon binge watching a bunch of projects. I am so impressed and can't wait to get started. Now which project to start on? Hmmm? What a fun dilemma!
I am glad you found my channel and are enjoying the videos. If you are in my FB group, I would love to see what you make. Thanks for watching!
Your first video that i watched i followed to a t to make an Elaine pouch. Your dimensions are extremely important like, the quarter inch seam allowance.
Yes…it is always important to follow measurements. Thanks for watching!
Who made the fabrics? Those are wonderful
Tula Pink :)
The fabrics are from Tula Pink. Thanks for watching!
I like your tutorial the best so far. So precise. Do you just add an inch to your measurements of the book size?
A thought I would make a fabric pen holder pouch maybe with a button and slide on the elastic before u sew it in so u would have a pen holder pouch on the elastic band so you know you always have a pen and not worry about Fallin out of the loop lol
Love the Notebook cover. Where do you get your fabric. I simply love them!!
Great video! Do you have a link for the elastic that you use?
I want to use batting and quilt mine. How do you think that would work with the 3/8 sewing line?
Any idea where I can get this fabric in South Africa? Love it!
i think I missed something. Why did you leave the two corners unstitched on the first side? I rewatched it and I see where it gets closed up on the ends now. I will have to make some of these!
I am glad it became clear. It is a great technique. Thanks for watching!
Ms Rosie, could you possible add to your tutorial lists a Bible case with zipper.? 😬☺️
I will think about it. The issue is that Bibles come in all different sizes, so I would have to think about coming up with a standard size. Thanks for watching!
@@RosiesArtStudio yes Ma’am. That’s true. I’d be tickled with a “process” and perhaps one of your handy worksheets. 😁♥️
Another great video and pattern. Where do I find the link to the pattern?
There is no writtren pattern. All the information you need to make the cover is given in the video. Thanks for watching!
thank you!@@RosiesArtStudio
The artwork on the material looks very familiar, do you know who did the artwork?
The designer is Tula Pink. Thanks for watching!
Dang. I followed all your directions but it is too small !!!
I'd have to top stitch to close, I'm not a hand sewer at all
Thanks for watching!
