2024

2024 started off the first week of January flying to Atlanta to find a house. We put an offer and closed in February. During those months I was packing up our house in Illinois to get ready to move a lot of it in March. In March during kids spring break we drove to Georgia where I followed David in a moving truck and we had movers empty the truck once we arrived. We returned to Illinois and I kept packing to get ready to permanently move in June. Well if you have followed me long enough you know the outcome of that. We moved everything back to Illinois in June. I drove back to Georgia alone with the kids while David continued to get the house in Georgia to sell. I actually enjoyed the road trips with the kids. They travel well.
It took us until end of October to sell our house in Georgia. The blessing was our Illinois house hadn’t sold so we didn’t have to go find a new home here.
A stressful year is putting it lightly I am ready to kiss 2024 goodbye. Meanwhile we did make some great memories in Georgia as you can see from this video. We had so much fun hiking, climbing Stone Mountain, Atlanta Museum, Atlanta Zoo, Medival Times, and so much more. The people are so nice down there.
Hoping for a much better year traveling the country speaking and passing my law in more states. I turn 40 in 4 weeks. It is my goal in 2025 to pass Erin’s Law in 40 states. I am at 38. I’m pretty good at accomplishing the goals I set. I hope I can say at the end of 2025 Erin’s Law is in 40 states. 🤞🏻 ❤️
