I've been a fan of TSTM since the beginning, and I still love Jared & Shannon, but I miss the energy of having a full band on stage. Initially, there were 4 members, then 3, and now it's down to just the 2 brothers. What the hell happened to Tomo? I miss that guy! I think you fellas need to reunite.
Tomo quit the band for "health reasons" at the last album. Something happened for sure... supposedly he wanted to go back to the more rock music and not the more pop they are doing now.

Любое явление и следует рассматривать со всех сторон, его плюсы и минусы. Это -- двигатель прогресса. Черт, стоит сказать "мне не понравилось шоу, выступление, организация", "слабовато", "хотелось бы, чтобы..." -- и понеслоооось -- ты хейтер!

America was like listening to Rhianna with Jared's voice filtered, utter garbage it was, let's hope this new album has more of an edge to it like theirnfirst 3 albums.
Just watched the whole set on dailymothion. The band is still pretty fun to watch but its just not the same without Tomo guitar riffs. I feel like him leaving was such a loss for the band. Shannon is still giving explosive performance but Jared old age is showing up in his vocals. He can't comfortably sing the old songs choruses anymore let alone the screams. I discovered the band back in 2015 and back then with Tomo's riffs, Shannon's beats and Jared comfortably screaming his lungs out over them , they were just glorious. His vocal power notably went down in America tour. Anyway, listening to their first 4 albums for the first time in 2015 was the best experience I have ever had with music in my life.
Minimum efforts for both jared and his brother for this song. No guitar needed and Shannon awkwardly looking busy on the drums. Probably with age you want to work less and not too hard . I do hope the other new songs have more of an impact on stage.

he really forced his voice back in the day and you can hear through the albums after This Is War that he payed a toll for all that extensive touring back in 09-11. after those days hes been letting the crowd since the choruses he lost that high range he had and just wanted to do pop its easier but clearly most fans turned off on that.
He always sang badly. I saw them live in 2008, Jared didn't sing the choruses and when he had to hit high notes he turned the mic towards the audience. He didn't sing a song in full, he cut them all halfway, to say nonsense sentences. One of the worst bands he's ever heard.

In the past he has often sung while being terribly sick. That can really destroy your vocal chords. Other than that I think he may have strained his vocal chords a lot during concerts as well. And on the other hand: even though he may look younger than he is, vocal chords do age too and the harsher the use the more intense the aging might be. Just wildly guessing here but all those things may have lead him into singing within a very easy vocal range for him. I haven't heard him sing in a range he used to use in the past couple of videos. I surely miss the energy from back then, I even complained to my mom about that because I really miss it and would've been happy to hear new music from them with the same intensity as e.g. this is war had. But we do not walk in Jared's or Shannon's shoes so we can't choose that. We can only receive or decline what they deliver. I do enjoy listening to their new album even though it didn't blow me away. But I may never visit a concert anymore. I am glad I did it years ago, it was the perfect time for me and I went three times in a row. But to me going to a concert is VERY stressful and I actually hate it, so I really need a valid reason to go. Back then I went for the energy and really enjoyed it.

i've come to accept that 30STM will never be the same band anymore since it's just jared and shannon left and i won't lie, i genuinely didn't mind this song when it came out but my god, this was an empty shell of a performance. jared didn't sing like he did in the studio version and shannon didn't even play the drums?? like what is his role at this point? kind of an awful performance all-round, ngl. the spirit of this band is long gone. at least when America came out, jared had the energy to belt out some vocals and shannon actually played his instruments like he should ;;

Full band? Right. This was all playback, except his vocals but he was following playback anyway. The drummer isn't playing anything at all (the camera cut off his hands when he's it would be too obvious, and all the other shots he's never playing while the beat magically go on). On top of that, you gonna make us believe that people who all followed Jared's particular fashion sense all randomly got chosen, lined up and all stayed in that perfectly neat delimited rectangle in the corner....? Right. I'm sorry to all Thirty Seconds to Mars fans... they've become a joke.

Não reconheço esse 30STM , não acho ruim.. acredito que possa ter uma ou outra música boa no álbum com essa pegada repetitiva desde 2014, mas não vejo a banda da minha adolescência que era muito melhor e com um puta vocalista que não precisava de autotune pq tinha uma das melhores vozes.... Pois é... conheci a banda em 2010 através de Kings and Queens... que música! Há alguns anos atrás eu afirmava ser minha banda preferida. Que apresentação xoxa... o Shanon não tocou, o Jared cantou algumas partes, o resto com playback... Enfim, só nos resta lembrar dos bons momentos.
Sou da época de FROM YESTERDAY. A banda com tomo e matt (baixista) era fora do comum. Puta de uma voz fora a bateria que dava gosto de ouvir. Jared disse que o novo álbum terá músicas relacionadas a antiga. Eu ainda tenho esperança.

I’ve been a fan since their early days as a band and watching them grow. They hit their peak on TIW and LLF+D. I’ve been to many shows and met them and they are awesome dudes. This just makes me sad to see where Jared can’t or won’t put any effort into his performance anymore. I will always love this band but this just makes me miss what they were. They had a huge influence on my life personally and as a musician.
They're pretty much a pop band now.... I guess that's why Tomo left. After the whole issue they've had with EMI, they've toured for so long and that's why Tomo stayed with them, but then the problem was sorted and they've become more and more pop, and Tomo ended up leaving......

Jared has said there'd be some songs on the upcoming album that are more reminiscent of their previous sound, which is exciting, but their newer albums leave a lot to be desired. I remember he said on a live stream recently that the next album would be a “fucking heavy metal album”. Maybe he'll actually do it. 🤷🏻♂️

Why are so many artists so against rock nowadays? Like there’s a HUGE fan base out there. Bands like Linkin Park that havent toured or written any albums (for obvious reasons) since 2017, still rank as one of the most listened to bands in the world, with 33 million monthly listeners.

Não reconheço esse 30STM , não acho ruim.. acredito que possa ter uma ou outra música boa no álbum com essa pegada repetitiva desde 2014, mas não vejo a banda da minha adolescência que era muito melhor e com um puta vocalista que não precisava de autotune pq tinha uma das melhores vozes.... Its a Beautiful Liiiiiiiie, Capricorn, A Modern Myth, Hurricane, This is War, Revenge, Attack, The Story... Só coisa boa.

Sou da época de FROM YESTERDAY. A banda com tomo e matt (baixista) era fora do comum. Puta de uma voz fora a bateria que dava gosto de ouvir. Jared disse que o novo álbum terá músicas relacionadas a antiga. Eu ainda tenho esperança.

I’ve been a fan since their early days as a band and watching them grow. They hit their peak on TIW and LLF+D. I’ve been to many shows and met them and they are awesome dudes. This just makes me sad to see where Jared can’t or won’t put any effort into his performance anymore. I will always love this band but this just makes me miss what they were. They had a huge influence on my life personally and as a musician.

Will there never be a replacement for Tomo? Pretty bland when they just use backing tracks all the time.
They're pretty much a pop band now.... I guess that's why Tomo left. After the whole issue they've had with EMI, they've toured for so long and that's why Tomo stayed with them, but then the problem was sorted and they've become more and more pop, and Tomo ended up leaving......
Pop band? Pop duo more like. A band has musicians performing ON STAGE, not behind it!! 30 seconds for me stopped being a band when America was released and I'm a firm beliver that Tomo left because of the direction Jared (or even the record label) wanted them to go in. How can a band go from songs like Buddha for Mary, Capricorn, The KILL to this????😢

I remember he said on a live stream recently that the next album would be a “fucking heavy metal album”. Maybe he'll actually do it. 🤷🏻♂️

Why are so many artists so against rock nowadays? Like there’s a HUGE fan base out there. Bands like Linkin Park that havent toured or written any albums (for obvious reasons) since 2017, still rank as one of the most listened to bands in the world, with 33 million monthly listeners.
