@@garyrato5938 Having both Fantom G8 and the new Fantom 8... the last one really sounds better than G. But it is a very personal feel. I agree with you that Roland Fantom's are the best keyboard ever.
i guess im asking randomly but does any of you know a way to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow lost my login password. I love any tips you can give me.
@Tomas Vihaan i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
HI, Set up has changed since I had the Roland. Now I have Nord Stage 2 and Yamaha MOX6 with a mixer going into the mox6 which is being used as the 24bit digital input. This then goes in Cubase on PC and into Alesis Usb speakers and also back into the MOX6 for monitoring.
@@georgefromgreece4119 it's funny I don't have a favourite. Throughout the years the XP80 was great, G7, G1000, Jupiter 50 and now I have the Fantom 0. It's very good, albeit could be better. Ive got a Montage, Krome and Nord stage 3, all have pros and cons. Would like to sell to Krome and get a nautilus.
Just found one G7 used for little money. Do you recommend it as an all-arounder? Organ to electric piano to synth... Also, is the feel of the keybed nice? Your demo rocks! I am surprised by the timbres this machine is capable of!
amazing keybed, id say under 1500 usd is a good deal on this keyboard now. though i would say the presets on this board are poor, only get it if you are comfortable programing your own sounds, lastly the acoustic pianos are poor on the factory rom. but it has enough sample memory to load a few nice pianos :)
@@donleinoor find the cheapest FA06, which has a large subset of the far superior SuperNatural sounds, and run a midi cable from it to the G7, which really excels for laying down your own tracks and sampling. The functionality of the G7 pads is superb. The whole board is massively deep and tweakable - download the user manual to see that. The G8 with the Ivory Touch weighted keybed is the best - which is what I bought a few years ago for AUD2000. Also supports half-damper pedalling and provides aftertouch. Weighs a ton of course - doesn’t move from my music room…!
You need to add 512MB DIMM memory for storing much in the way of samples, and for storing complete songs (and backing up) you need the USB stick plugged in.
LMAO! Your "Home Made" beats made me chuckle to no end! With real drums you have a lot of lee way, but Digital drums that are all relatively the same volume & texture you so need to hunt for that magic button! Track Edit, Quantise, Grid/Shuffle 80% if you're in 4/4 it's 1/16, waltz 1/12, 6/4 is 1/24 etc. And I Love that you gave quintuple a go! Good stuff! :)
@@garyusinger If you "smack" the keys faster creating a higher velocity on the keys the Fantom will trigger a different sample on playback which will get you the guitar slide sounds.
4:17 is my favorite part of this demo... I have this keyboard, got it to teach myself how play keys better. My bf is building me a music space off from the main house so I can be noisy at all hours as he says lol.
Ah turn on tune in cop out is the tune. I play it in a band. I have a small office space which I now have the montage and Nord. I do miss the Roland tho, great board.
Probably the best keyboard Roland has made, or will ever make. It's has everything
Fantom G sounds better than new fantom . I agree with you, this is definitively Roland 's best keyboard ever.

The new Famtoms have the better sound engine or one with more features, but as a whole package, I still prefer my Fantom G6. Even now in 2022.
@@Flavio-ar why and on what do you prefer the newer one against the older versions?
Thanks in advance!
Good musician and nice workstation
Great sound demo i love it🎶
The Muse song reminds me of Dr Who
Man Im saving up for this machine. Your an amazing Pianist, do you have any music out?
That's a good demo. Why can't we hear more of this? Gotta a motif, this is a capable keyboard. He actually played snippets of songs.

Thank you so much you saved my ass !
@Lee Hamza Happy to help :D
I really envy such equipment.
c'est super on voit qu'il y a du metier et du travail derriere
@fantomg100 it depends in the sounds. some are better than others on both. however the nord stage 2 blows them all away.
The name of the choir sound, not which chord he is playing.

Hi, at 0:35 and more, guitar sound, what preset did you use and if you use there expression pedal ? Thank you
Hi, don't have it anymore as a few years ago now. It would be acoustic with a dynamic range to cause the bend.
To each's own. Btw. your name is fantomG. You must be a fan.
What song is this? 2:00
Is there a way to copy sounds from one project to another.
Are you using some arx expanssion?, or is the default patches of the g7? :O
I ❤ this sound
how did you get that first guitar sound with the slides?
They are part of the sound set, using hard velocity.

Brass at which point?
What s the name of this brass?
Witch ones you use to the the sound effect on minute 3:53
Angel Cortez I can't remember exactly but it's piano, ep, strings and bells effect, like chimes.
hi Derrick. I don't have the Fantom anymore. I do have a small Roland but my main keys are nord and korg.
+FUNKEY999 king korg by any chance?
+beakf1 Kronos x
more dsp power with that synth ?
