I do not think we have jews living in our nation .
I' m not familiar with your terminology and so would appreciate when introducing Hebrew or non -English words that the meaning/ lexicon be stated for the listener's better appreciaton.

the point about the purpose of business being to meet people hit me hard. I've recently just stopped working for others and decided to go my own way but I understand what the Rabbi means. Intention is everything. I came to a realisation that if I just continue the way I am - I'm hitting my forties - not only will i live to regret not trying to work for myself but also that i won't have a comfortable retirement. So I would rather use whatever is left of my god gifted youth to strive and make good for me and my family. Please please pray for me as I am in a really dark, angst-ridden space right now...thank you for this

Rabbi, and Thank you for giving being GOD has given me "you" and thank GOD for the wisdom you brought. You have today enriched my life. All my life I gave myself, having no money. Being persicuted, mocked, abuse, misused, even raped by a man thinking I am not human for my H.S. standards fighting for 5 hrs before he did this evil. Chased away by my ex, saying he do not wanted to be married to a missionary. Even from some churches, some Goverment even short me in the face, beating me over the head because the Pistol obey GOD. so I call on JESUS. I have no money I nhate what it do to people😭I thank GOD for I seek thát intimacy in people you talked about because That is what GOD show me bore Fruit. I pray for people all my life, That we Have thát faith to REFLECT HIM like A FULL MOON the SON of RIGHTOUSNESS yet not having a evil side any more FOR GOD IS OMNIPRESENT, OMNICIANT, OMNIPOTEND, TRI UNE TRUTH, TRI UNE HOLY, MERCY & GRACEFUL, SOVEREING & JUST, FORGIVING when we are Repenting & Just. After I died or not I do not know but seeing What happen in heaven bringing one soul what if thousands of millions Heaven Rejoice, GOD told us in this to bring more souls to me HE said bring my Son's to me. Then Send us to a place as dreadful as the Haulocaust, where there where dead between living and worms crawling between them. Extremely unclean. GOD mark us with HIS BLOOD and gave us covering from head to toe( It was Okt 21 in my return from trouma being short in the face by two Goverment officials the stop the investigation because it was a inside job, I now am 72 it was on my son's birthday, the 7/10 on my daughter in law's birthday, to sphycologically hurt me. Ellon Musk just offer me one of 45 delete to took part in his Transforming Fam Campain. I did and instead of money I did not have deliver him some of what you said yesterday. To me I show HIM GOD's Double EDGE sword cutting my and his way. Challenging HIM to CHOOSE between GOD and HEAVEN or MONEY and Hell. if HE choose GOD he might kept HIS money yet have Tru wealth. Choosing Money He lost Everlasting Life. To me I Have a Relationship with GOD who Became my All through our mylife. Why GOD send me back to pray for all ever to prayed that all receive now and after death eternal LIFE using GOD's WORD on HIS Command.

First and most my respect and love for Rabbi Friedman, even as he said ‘what is love’ his understanding, his mission, his wisdom is beyond words, his words soothed my heart after I lost my beloved son, but through his words I understood.
Today as listening his talk I would love to understand this part, if you don’t need money but only to give to someone else, is that like helping one that is needy? How can this be understood if we know that we don’t need anything ?
    Thank you so much.

God wants me to have abundance but I have an inner block that I’m trying to reprogram. My parents divorced when I was 10 and sometimes my mom couldn’t pay the bills on time and we’d have no water or electricity for a day or two and eventually the house went to foreclosure and we moved into an apartment. I was always stressed about money and didn’t ask for anything. I never had what my friends had and have this programmed into me. I’m trying to change my programming and feel like I’m almost there.

    • @nomorecensoringme

Realize that you are not what happened to you. You were a child then. Your mom did the best she could given what she worked with at the time. It didn't define who she was. Now you choose your thought process. You choose what's important or not. We can all have blocks in our head that prevent us from moving forwards. Think of who you can help. Who needs you. When money is your focus, having it of not having it, it becomes more important than it is, which is a means to an ends. Least that's how I navigate things.

Context is important. And I think the Rabbi does put things inside of a context. On the other hand you could say this is a little bit of a prosperity ministry. I don’t think it’s ever easy to have a conversation about money without some weird feelings inside of the Abrahamic tradition or inside of any spiritual tradition for that matter. I think these conversations are important to have. In terms of developing ourselves into people who bring something good and valuable into the world and also terms of being grateful and being good stewards of the blessings that we receive.

    • @nomorecensoringme
      @nomorecensoringme 2 ปีที่แล้ว

'Prosperity ministry'? That seems to imply that Jews have money. You do t know much then about some of the most amazing sages. Poor as can be. They believed that G-d provided as much or as little as they needed. If they got less then that's what G-d thought was necessary. It's a matter of prospective. Lots more wisdom on money to be found. Like if G-d gives you a fortune, He doesn't want to hear from you. If you have less he wants you to talk to Him. And on and on.

As a Christian gentile, this is deep. Rabbi Friedman is right.
Career has replaced faith and relying everything on God.
Many lessons on handling money, having money and even having no money.
… Wealth has nothing to do with who you are. God gives because there is a plan in place, and this serves the plan. So, do your part in the plan. Don’t think you are running the plan. Wealth doesn’t mean God likes you. It’s not true that if you don’t have wealth, God hates you. It’s not about how much you make. It is about how much of a relationship did you create by making a living, with other human beings and with God. Where is your life behind your wealth? Business is part of life and Life is a partnership with God. - Rabbi Manis Friedman
I was agreeing to everything until 33:25
“Mashiach does not come miraculously out of a cloud. The world has to be ready. Coz if it’s gonna be a miracle, why the miracle couldn’t happen a thousand years ago? Obviously something needs to develop. So that Mashiach can come. The world has to be ready. He’s not gonna come and argue with us. It’s the last thing we need. Another machiokes (conflict). So, Mashiach is gonna come, the world is going to accept him.”
With all respect to Rabbi Manis Friedman, this is a view of a Messianic Christian believer:
    - Jesus, the Mashiach will indeed come (return) down from the Heavens (Read Acts 1:11)
    - In contrast, people (Israel) will not be ready for the end (Matthew 24:38-39 and Luke 17:27)
In 43:10, I returned alignment to Rabbi’s view about Charity Donation
“It [Money] was given to you to give away. Now, it is much easier to convince people that the love you have is not for you. Why are you loving yourself? Love was never given to be kept. If you are capable of love, love someone, not yourself. Love more than someone. Love everyone but not yourself. This simple Earth shattering message - Your life was never meant for you. That can change the world dramatically. All the money I have, who says it’s for me? Just cause it’s mine? It’s yours to take the responsibility for the distribution. You have love? It’s for you? That’s crazy.
So, what do you do with your money? You give it to who it’s meant for. So, dont even consider yourself generous and big hearted. You’re not giving away your money. You’re delivering the money where it is meant to be. It’s not a sacrifice. You’re not a saint. And if you give your love to others, not a sacrifice… If God is giving us lots and lots of money, good!

    Hi Rabbi,
I am a Christian and Stand with Israel.
Very interesting discussion. I love listening to lectures by Jewish people. I enjoy learning about your culture and language so I can get to grips with the Bible. Jesus is a Jew from the tribe of Judah. Jesus said it is the love of money that's the problem. When he asked the rich young ruler to follow Him, the ruler choose his wealth over eternal life.
Jesus is a Jew from the tribe of Judah and his genealogy is found in the Gospel of Matthew. I believe he is the Messiah. He is the sacrificial lamb of the Old Testament. He is the suffering servant in Isaiah who pays for transgression by dying on the cross. So when we have faith in Him and repent of our sins then we are justified by His righteousness, not our own works lest we become proud, and receive eternal life. Jesus is our Advocate. If we do more good works then bad are we still good enough for God? How does Judaism address sin and salvation?
    Thank you

Eli it would be interesting to have a respectful conversation. It’s something that I find fascinating. Because we know that Moses was African right. He was found on the river Nile in Africa. And raised by pharaohs daughter an Egyptian African lady. And then led his people to the land of Canaan. Who was one of the four sons of Ham..
