Thank you Sir, one doubt - when 2 tables are already linked through relationship.. is it mandatory to use "RELATED" ? or can't we directly pass column name without explicitly mentioning function name?

For RELATED to work , relationship must exist between 2 tables ... Now, lets suppose we have the scenario where we are currently working on table present on many side of the relationship but we need to reference some values from lookup table (table on one side) then in that case for that reference we need RELATED function..

RELATED function is used when the relationship exists between 2 tables as the performance would be better .. LOOKUPVALUE is generally preferred when we are not able to establish relationship between tables ... Don't worry will create the video on LOOKUPVALUE as well
