at 1:15:28 , after applying taht filter context you are not getting your desired result which was sum and even if you are getting you did not show that, please man at least tell that is usecase of filter context
Hi Bhavesh, We are getting our desired result ... Now, Lets understand like this... When we have used SUM function we were not be able to provide filter context and hence you have seen same Total values were duplicated for each row.. Now when we have used CALCULATE we have transformed row context to filter context explicitly due to which total values get filtered out and individual values get reflected against each row .. This was the entire scenario.. Hope this helps!!

At 1:41:27 i beleive Instead of all(product_lookup) it will be all( product_lookup[product_name]). Filter context applied on product table will not be overwritten instead only the product_lookup[product name ] column filter will be overwrite by the dax. Other filter applied by product lookup table will work as it was working. At 1:45:03 even if you have used any other filter of the product_lookup table in outer filter that narrow downs product lookup rows. All will again unfold the all rows of product_lookup table as you have used all(product_lookup) and then apply product name - mobile filter. So the same number of rows come each time and thus the values will be same for all product or for any other outer filter context which will be mobile sales.
Hi Akay, Let's Understand like this Case 1: If we will change ALL(Product_Lookup) to ALL(Product_Lookup[Product_Name]) then what will happen filter context will get eliminated from Product_Name column only and Mobile Sales value will be duplicated for all the products but suppose we take Product ID in place of Product Name then filter context will work and Mobile Sales get reflected against Mobile Product ID only and for other product ids values will come empty due to filter context so it depends whether you want to remove filter context from all the columns or from single column of a table. Case 2 : Again, on similar lines because we have removed filter context on Product_Lookup table in our scenario values of Mobile Sales will be duplicated for all the products even if you replace Product_Name with Product_ID same values will be duplicated because we remove filter context from entire table not from specific column... Hope this helps!!
