The rod placement was great. Next time remember to alterate rolling directions of the rods. It will keep the hair from wanting to be one big curl and add a little more definition and body to the curls.

Lina Don’t have pictures any more. But i used the piggyback method and ended up using a razor to thin it out because her hair was thick and I only use 2 boxes of perm.

At my highschool there’s a 2 year career center for juniors and you can go into cosmetology and get your license , dental, or health science and graduate highschool as a cna (certified nursing assistant)
Nice rolling, but after you rinse the perm solution you should have placed her under the dryer for 10 minutes before doing the neutralizer. That helps to lock the curl pattern in.

I have to put moisture back into it. Use leave in conditioner. But I love it better then my stick straight thin hair. Depends on who you go to and if you know how to take care of the perm. I had friends who would get perms in the 80”s and put no product on them and comb straight down. No scrunching to get a curly pattern. Just frizz!
This is just a hypothesis, but what if after you wash out all of the solution completely from each and every perm rod, you just leave in the rods as your hair is setting for a couple days and then take them out after they sit in the rods. Wont your perm turn out more perfectly?
You are supposed to get the full rod not just the top of it. You aren’t supposed to push up when doing a test curl and WEAR GLOVES and wash it not in hot water or the hair can break. I’m a cosmetology student also and I’m kinda triggered with some stuff you did 😂😂
I got a perm last a little while ago... I loved it at first cause I always had straight hair but after a while I got lazy and didn’t want to brush it out! My hair was really thick but it was so cute with it
