I've owned my GTR R35 for just over a year and this is the first time i've had a chance to take it out on a race track. I was surprised how the car handled on track and i don't think it's a good idea to turn off the traction control as my reluctant passenger found out.

Great upload 👌 it must be quite frustrating owning at gt3 knowing what a weapon they are round a track ,that gtr is ballistic on the road in all weather's but stick it on a track standard its a bit out of its depth these days 😳 👍

Awesome vid, Dont think i have the balls to take my Litchfield 4.25 GTR on track, 682/613, only took it for a spin the other day on some twisty roundabouts and she tried to kill me LOL ( subscribed BTW great content )

GTR looks like a beast, track doesn’t look too long so cars with better gearing and lighter weight seem to hang with you. I bet on most US tracks the GTR would have a bigger advantage due to its power. Time to take EVIL GTR to the ring! Bring the buddy again but pack diapers this time.
Haha yeah he definitely pooped it! ... The track is just over 2 miles long so i would love to get it on the ring one day and get upto a higher speed. Thanks for watching 😊

Being the passenger is awful tbf, you suddenly become aware of how much can go wrong but as the driver you know exactly how far you can go before it gets loose. Imagine being a Rally Co-Driver.... hahahhahaha no thank you

Its always a compromise when you want a good road and track car.
I would change tyres and brakes but wouldn't mess with the suspension.
You drive the car much more on the road than track.

Some advise would be to change your engine oil and filter after a track day. Good practice protect the engine internals
Brill video. The newer ones are a bit softer so track edition may be more suited to you however day to day prob piss you off. Try the Bridgestones or Michelin cup tyres and get the litchfield suspension kit. If not you can always get the wheel alignment done to be more track focused.

I go to Oulton quite lot. You think your brakes & suspension is s? Try Fiesta ST's single pot front brakes and budget suspension! Big difference I found was when fitting track semi slicks and race pads.

Mate my GTR clicked just like yours for months all you need to do is take your wheel spanner and tighten as hard as you can and i promise you that sound will be gone it drove me crazy for months
