If you want to know about our religion: ignore all the Muslims in the globe around you. Go through the Holy Quran and start any random verse and it will make a sense for you. I am cent percent sure and then the Lord will guide you to the righteous path

My husband is a convert from Sikhism/Christianity. He is also called Ibraaheem. He too had some Muslims friends but they were not dawah types or practising Muslims. He too came from an islamaphobic background. It's so sad that Sikhism are brainwashed to hate Muslims. His relative, she became Muslim years ago, when her brother's found out, they ripped her hijab off and told her to say bad thing about Allaah. She left home on a rainy day with no clothes and nowhere to go. But she's happily married now. My mother-in-law still has hate and resentment towards islam. People keep saying to give dawah, give dawah, but don't use hiqma. Other friends of hers, who are not so practising, used to speak to her about Islam so much that they've pushed her away from it, so now when I bring anything about Islam up she leaves the room or starts taking about her sikism. It's sad that. It's sad that other fellow brown faces have been taught to hate fellow brown faces, whereas they have been taught to call themselves white names and drink and party, assimilate like the west.

Sub’han’Allah to revert at 17! It made really sad though as a Muslim that this brother was going hungry. As Muslims we have a long way to go to support our revert brothers and sisters. Alhumdulilah our masjid this year is providing Eid celebrations at the masjid all day to help support our revert brothers and sisters who may not have a Muslim family to spend Eid with.

"When I was about 15, I started looking into religions". That's the missing link... How many are concerned about and are trying to learn about their religion leave alone other religions? How many are willing to go to churches (they are fast becoming colourful disco and music clubs) and a majority of those who go there do it as time pass. Even if they spend a third or fourth of the time they spend on social media with a real wholehearted willingness, most of them would have found Islam, the only true religion. Inspite of all the derogatory and false propaganda levelled against Islam, Islam grows like anything. Truth can not be hidden forever.

His dad was Sikh. Sikhism is monotheistic mixed with Sufi and Hindoo elements created during Mughal empire when most of Punjab doubted hindoo polytheism and started embracing Islam taught to locals from Mughals and Sufi missionaries some locals were not happy so they created Sikhism monotheism and a mix of Sufi and Hindooism. Most of India Punjab is Sikh and Hindoo while almost all of Pakistan Punjab is Muslim

Whenever there is ramdan I insist on giving food in the masjid not just iftaar. Because among the hundred who are well fed there is someone who doesn't have access to food. You never tell. Travellers, converts, students living away from home, poor, those who are unable to cook.
