Most people wanted history to happen and an undefeated pats win every game including the super bowl. While many Charger fans despise Eli, I always respected him and enjoyed watching the two Super Bowl runs he had. As a Chargers fan, I'm happy with how the trade went and can say it worked out for both sides. I wish Eli nothing but the best in retirement.

I’m a Steeler fan, but boy I love Eli. I have so much respect for him and how he conducts himself. He comes from a wonderful family and will be remembered as a true gem of a player. I’ll be forever grateful to him for taking two Super Bowls away from Brady!

This was definitely a very emotional video and an even more emotional career. Say what you want about Eli, but to me, he defines what it means to be a New York Giant. Not only will he be greatly missed as a player in this organization, but also as a leader to everyone else. Eli showed accountability, durability, and leadership, which I respect immensely in him. He singlehandedly brought us two Super Bowls, which is more than roughly 20 organizations have in total, if I remember correctly. I am hoping he enjoys his time off with his family and soon comes back in some capacity to this franchise, even if it’s somewhere in the front office. Eli manning brought this franchise from the ruins don't get me wrong that defense was awesome but to have a dependable quarterback ready to play every game didn't have to worry about replacing until 16 years if I was mara I would have cried a fucken river!!!

It starts in the home as a boy growing up with 2 committed parents with exceptional values and morals and translates later into a young man , mature and self-assured he's doing the right thing in his life. The intangibles people talk about some players have comes from a strong foundation and the personality and will they develop on their own as they grow up. Eli, your facial expressions at times were priceless whether they were watching Peyton playing in a Super Bowl or after an interception or touchdown it was always the same, Lol. That 1st playoff run, 4 road wins, Tampa, 13-3 cowgirls team, -27 (w/the wind chill) in Green Bay in NFC Championship game (maybe just greatest game ever, I don’t care he had no tds go back and watch he was slinging the ball to Burress all game) then beating an 18-0 NE team trailing in the 4th twice, probably the toughest SB run of any QB ever
