paramedic is an almost relaxing mission, don't go too fast & you can complete easily at Portland. because of the timer how long what it takes, don't damage much as you drive carefully fast.
It would be cool if when you got 100 fires extinguished, you got a fire truck delivered to all your hide outs, but instead of it having a water cannon it had a flame thrower, I think that would fit in the world of gta.

Ambulance mission is literally easy to complete, taxi mission is difficult since *"ONE HUNDRED"* passengers need to be taken to their destinations in one row in order to complete it and i flipped the taxi over since it's very likely to happen when i was on number 70 and i was so mad that i kept hitting myself on the head for it.
I got to the end of ambulance level 12 and all I had to do was deliver my last 3 patients back to the hospital. No joke I flip right in front of the hospital and fail. That feeling I felt only one other time in my life when I lost an ounce at a bar. Anyways did the ambulance again after and got it. Never doing it again lol

I was working on the paramedic and I literally finished (got to the hospital at the first island) with only a few seconds left on the definitive edition. I was so relieved to finish it!
If you do it again at some point it's much easier on Staunton island, you can usually finish the missions with minutes to spare. (Plus the cartel aren't as aggressive and the roads are much flatter, straighter, and wider.) The only downside is that the hospital itself is a little awkward.

Ambulance is deftnally one of the hardest side missions in Gta history, i raged so much in this side mission especially when i failed in the 11 th level with the car with plenty of health...
Highly recommend doing that in Staunton island. Roads are more forgiving there and the cartel don't have much area compared to the triads. The hospital entrance is a bit annoying but you can pretty easily cut across to get in quicker. You still have to worry about driving clean, but the time limits are way better.
trick for the firefighter missions If you enter a firetruck, start the mission and press F1 (replay) key twice on your keyboard the fire will extinguish thus, making it easier. You can do this consecutively for money as well, (note that it might not working in some versions or ports)
I finished Paramedic on the definitive edition boy it's brutal. I did it on Staunton Island. The lanes are wide. Ambulance is more controllable, Only area to avoid driving in is dirt on top right where the gang is and they shoot at you.. So that helped me I also used an alley to cut around it. I recommend doing it on Portland early in the game, and take your time turning handbrake. Coast behind drivers, some will cut you off, and go in front. I had a beat up ambulance at level 5. Took about an hour to pick up and drop all off without taking a break. I was lucky to only get one star, and running over pedestrians you will do that no question. Just don't run over the cops. You can't use the crusher glitch anymore they patched it.
Handbrakes for the ambulance missions and doing them after the first mission is key .. Also with a bit of luck, if the passenger and back doors are open they get in faster

That being said, don't give up, take your time, plan out which ones you rescue first. On top of that, do it as the guide says at the beginning of the game.
Great video guide side mission I was curious if you finished the missions in Portland and of course did the Asuka mission where you have to get to Red Light District and stopping Salvatore Leone I was curious if this is still somewhat easy in Staunton as you haven’t done tons of missions in that island yet
Trying to platinum GTA 3 at the moment and foolishly thought I could go back and do these missions. Got all the way to Shoreside Vale in the story and just started the whole game again. Did an overwrite on the old save file and everything. Level 12 paramedic done (tough mission) and 20 fires put out. I'll be a vigilante later tonight.

@@Embryodelichi, I looked at the fandom page for known GTA 3 glitches and the closest one I could find was the "Ghost Car" glitch, which allows a vehicle to pass through solid objects (such as buildings). It's a tricky sounding glitch that requires a very specific setup with the Harwood crane. Once it's been done however the ghost car will be able to pass through solid objects, and theoretically couldn't be destroyed as a result. The only catch is that for whatever reason the car gets larger the more you drive it, and you can't get back in the car if you leave it.
The easiest way to pass vigilante is to pause your game and and then unpause that way the criminal get out of their car and then you can just run them over
The paramedic side missions is extremely hard, it requires a veteran driving skills. Don't crash too hard or often. I wish vehicles had STRONGER brakes. To hell puny brakes, puny brakes will make vehicles skidding instead of bringing them to an instant halt. Here my quote on vehicles' puny brakes. When i say halt, i mean: HALT!
The side missions in GTA III are certifiably evil and a crime against humanity, especially being forced to do Firefighter and Vigilante on all three islands which was complete nonsense. I remember the constant struggle I had as a kid trying to figure out the layout of Shoreside Vale and where the vehicles were located since there was no in-game map available. Paramedic however was the absolute hardest. The handling was so awful. Thankfully, Rockstar made these missions more player friendly in San Andreas and even Vice City.

The ambulance missions are much easier to do on Staunton as the island is much more flat and the time is much more reasonable. I wanted to do this early do did the tunnel glitch to get to the second island just to get the trophy. I found it near impossible in portland.

If anyone is struggling to complete the paramedic missions later in the game for 100% (setting fire because gangs are shooting you) I recommend a video called "The Easiest Way To Complete "Paramedic" (PC version)" by DealuxPlay. I can confirm the glitch still works on the PC steam version as of writing this comment and will allow you to reach 100% without using cheats.
Ok, so I changed my mind it wasn't that bad of this mission. But the problem is that I hated the paramedic mission is Portland island it does definitely work. I did the paramedic mission in Staunton island and I was so close to get it, I was in Lvl 10 I used too, and then the ambulance flip shit because of the handling problem of an ambulance include for the Yardie. That's the part that i hate it and frustrated the mission. But I do play the paramedic mission very gently and Lower the volume cuz the alarm of an ambulance it's noisy and it gives me a headache, That's why i screw up. but now I've done it! I got the infinite Sprint! And also I complete the side mission between: Paramedic, Vigilante, & Firefighter! Thank fully I did it for the rest of an Hour. Btw when you see the passenger with Yardie dudes that your trying to pick em up. Use the Uzi to take them out while driving in the ambulance and watch your fire for the patients!

I use a tank from Phil army base for the police on the first island and had no trouble at all now I have to do same on the third island including the firefighters and the firefighters on the first island will be impossible cos of the maffia shooting at u

For the NON-Definitive edition, cheats on PS4 don’t affect trophies so I used Improve Driving Skill and Slow Motion cheats for the Paramedic missions.

Parkourpotato well you obviously did not set enough triads on fire for el burro then. His well endowed rage summoned a lot of fire trucks for me

@@hansscorp yeah like triads after doing Toni missions I heard and like after what happens to Salvatore when you travel to Portland again from Staunton Island you have to get to a position so mafia don’t spot you
@@hansscorp that’s why it’s recommended doing the side missions first like paramedic fire truck and vigilante too before starting more missions cause if you do that when you progressed a lot they will attack
@@shawnrichards8865 but how can you do all 60 criminals only after finishing the first mission? All other islands are closed at that point. And also, I am having trouble doing the Going Rogue trophy. Any tips?

You need to kill 60 enemies total (20 per island)… but the other islands are closed wuen you only finished the first mission. I don't understand.
For the police bribes... do u have to kill 60 to get a 6 bribes on one island. Or do u have to do 20 on each to get the bribes?

I use a tank from Phil army base for the police on the first island and had no trouble at all now I have to do same on the third island including the firefighters and the firefighters on the first island will be impossible cos of the maffia shooting at u
Vigilante mission completed only after I realized 75 not 60.
Whenever i do a side mission like vigilante and get 10 kills it doesn't say that a police bribe is
delivered to my house.Same with the firefighter.I completed firefighter and i didn't recieve a flamethrower.Please help!
