I've been rewatching a lot of your old vlogs and my favorite one is when you and Landon go to Powell's at night and give a little tour of the layout. It's so comforting to me, it makes me long for when I can go wander around a bookstore for as long as I want, without a mask on, surrounded by other people. Someday!

Oh this was so nice, I felt like I was browsing in a Powell’s. I got to go there once in 2016 and oh my... I still have no words for how wonderful that shop is. We are in our 11th week of a strict lockdown and no bookshops are open. Luckily my local bookshop takes orders and drops the books to my apartment as I live so nearby, but I would do anything to browse! Interestingly, France considers bookshops an essential service that can stay open during lockdown. I think I agree!! Thanks for great recommendations, I am particularly looking forward to reading World of Wonders. Also, the quality of your videos is soooooo good. It’s like watching a short film.

In the spot where you take World of Wonders off the shelf, there's a big book to the bottom right called Skulls - we won that book as a prize participating in a library zoom game night recently. It's very awesome. A matcha drink. And a crudite platter with hummus. Two of my faves. I, too, loved Book Love. I felt seen, but also called out. LOL World of Wonders - if you enjoy nature essays, I can't recommend strongly enough checking out Robin Wall Kimmerer. She's most known for Braiding Sweetgrass but, as a PNW'er, I also adored Gathering Moss. We're a Coconut Bliss family - nondairy deliciousness. Thank you for the lovely vlog.

Oh this was so nice, I felt like I was browsing in a Powell’s. I got to go there once in 2016 and oh my... I still have no words for how wonderful that shop is. We are in our 11th week of a strict lockdown and no bookshops are open. Luckily my local bookshop takes orders and drops the books to my apartment as I live so nearby, but I would do anything to browse! Interestingly, France considers bookshops an essential service that can stay open during lockdown. I think I agree!! Thanks for great recommendations, I am particularly looking forward to reading World of Wonders. Also, the quality of your videos is soooooo good. It’s like watching a short film.

I'm new to your channel and your videos give me to much joy! I saw that you picked up and put back The Paris Library and it's funny because that's a book I would recommend to you 😅. The way the main character talks about the classics (Little Women etc) made me want to read them and I'm not usually a fan of classics. I personally loved the book. I recommend 😌

I'm down in Eugene and I haven't been to Powells in over a year. I miss it soooooo much. Thank you for taking me there vicariously! .... In the spot where you take World of Wonders off the shelf, there's a big book to the bottom right called Skulls - we won that book as a prize participating in a library zoom game night recently. It's very awesome. A matcha drink. And a crudite platter with hummus. Two of my faves. I, too, loved Book Love. I felt seen, but also called out. LOL World of Wonders - if you enjoy nature essays, I can't recommend strongly enough checking out Robin Wall Kimmerer. She's most known for Braiding Sweetgrass but, as a PNW'er, I also adored Gathering Moss. We're a Coconut Bliss family - nondairy deliciousness. Thank you for the lovely vlog.

Ooh, I've been meaning to read more of Devotions, and you reading it in the sun made it look so appealing. I think the bookmark I have in it is a birthday card, which probably means I haven't read in it for a while considering I'm a summer baby. Also totally relate to the exhaustion after leaving the house. Feels so weird. It's probably similar to how babies feel after experiencing lots of new things. Have a lovely weekend!
