Efixx I let my cousin order from eBay.uk a draper torque screwdriver set 19pcs but it's need a few days to arrived to uk his the he will send it to me to Lebanon by DHL so if the draper torque driver set I don't know how to use it by scale of draper torque so I think to make a video for torque settings???

Had a set of the angled ones (no latch or spring though) for some time now and use them for all sorts. From cutting 3.5mm machine screws, to nipping wood screws / nails flush that end up being a little long for the job, even cutting little padlocks when needed. Fine on the smaller cable basket, a push on the thicker gauge stuff though (usually 300mm+), can do it at a push, but a real effort.
Always to hand in my tool bag., not particularly cheap, but worth the money in my eyes.
Managed to destroy my angled 200 today cutting that big Basket (~4mm thick 400 wide tray)
It broke at the angled flat side.. the material there is thinner because flush. Gonna get the straight ones now and see if I can break them 😂

Really good review thank you I’ve had a set for about three months now and I’m so impressed with them they are perfect for cutting consumer unit buss bar and gripple wire. I’ve never thought to cut jack chain i usually always pry it open probably not a bad shout. Not bad for £40 I would highly recommend them. As I have in one of my videos

Great product and well worth the money for the time they save.
I tend to use my knipex side cutters for 3.5's and they still cut like new 5 years on.. I've got the cobolts and they are great esp for jack chain and catenery wire .. they can just about do 10mm studding.. with the home brew 25mm conduit extendo arms .. not advisable.. but has gotten me out of trouble a couple of times, quite handy for cutting 70 & 95mm singles inside an armoured .. the knipex shears are rated for 70mm but wont cut 7 strand, struggles with 25mm ...but theyre fine on super fine stranded cables... nice to see some proper tools being reviewed.. good work lads

These look great. I can see how more suitable for the job they are compared to other bulkier and less well built things I reach for when I need to get through a bolt or cable. Once again you've delivered another great trustworthy presentation. There's usually not a lot not to like about Knipex tools, but I know you'd tell us if you found anything. Thanks!

Seen these bolt cutters on some of the sparks on TH-cam. they look amazing and will save my knuckles when cutting copper buzzbar
I prefer the threaded holes on Klein wires strippers for most small bolts.
It's a very precise method, and it doesn't bugger the threads.
I have the non-insualted handle version of these.

I have an unsprung set, don't tend to use them for stranded steel as I use a lot of gripples but if you're using dogs I suppose its not an issue. Nice cutters, they also do a flush cutter in the same format although it will have lower capacities.

I'm looking at a set of angled cutters for basket. Are the angled ones up to the job of repetitive cutting of cable basket? I currently use a set of 14" straight bolt cutters.
Would of liked to see it cut catenary wire as I use my pliers to cut socket M3.5s, but look impressive
The Spring action of the German made Knipex 7112200 is rather nice as well as the locking option to keep it compact in your tool bag that being said after looking at the design and workmanship of the American made Klinge 40209 which is very similar both are the same length and very durable heat treated metals the Klinge only lacks a locking mechanisum and
spring like action at half the cost. Either or Both are a great addition to anyones tool bag with regards to their budget.
I have a pair of theses but with out the spring action (71 02 200)and I love them they really do cut through socket screws like butter
how ever I was gutted when I found out you could get the spring action ones

We love these - but have just given our set away. So we may need to borrow yours! - think we will opt for the 20deg head version next.
@@efixx always welcome to use them . This channels amazing as a time served electrician I find it’s what we need as electricians to help with our cpd and levelling up .
Questioned whether these would cope with cutting the cable basket , good to know they are up to the task. Definitely on the shopping list as we do a lot of basket at the moment !

Do the 3.5mm socket screws cut with a clean end or do they need filing first?
One question, cutting the 3.5mm to 6mm bolts will the cut need cleaning up before they will screw into box lugs and nuts ?.
Would be great if you could review Knipex 95 62 160 and 95 62 190 Wire Rope Cutters for electric wire cutting, as an electrician tool.
Great bit of kit. If I tested them on her washing line they will probably be nut crackers as well 🤣. Seriously though love the brand they produce quality products I use a few of them. Cheers gents something else I need now👍🤗

Cut basket mainly. The thicker heavy duty type is a bit harder but it still goes. If u have a difficult but of basket in a crowded containment install u can chop n change it in situ which is very handy. I think I paid about 40
I had flush angle version and it last very short time on cutting basket. Flush version not strong enough for basket.
I bought another version this time cobolt XL 71 31 250 with a recess that allows you to cut up to 6mm and they work perfect on basket no issues.

I'm currently using the knipex high leverage side cutters 200 length, I probably would consider the co bolt cutters next time around.

Can they do bolts too? That could be a great test but like most bolts I see people cut bolts and then rip the freeds out of nuts and holes so have to re tap holes etc?
They seem to work fine on socket screws which are brass.
As to cutting socket screws i'm surprised no one has improved upon the screw cut function of your basic set of crimpers? The cut is excellent but its a pain to thread the screw into the cutting hole. Could anybody come up with a system to grip the thread perfectly and make a cut that requires no deburring? Its a bit of a niche thing for us sparks but would be of great help for those multiple cut times.
Sounds like a mission for the Brocket inventor.

If you work outside a lot get the unsprung ones, rust is the enemy of the sprung sets. Other than that I find them good tools.

Does anyone know the difference between the 2 models 71 32 200 on this video weighing 370grams and the 71 12 200 weighing 390grams, they look the same and same spec from what I see but the 71 12 200 is heavier and cheaper
It's too late to answer your question, but this might help others. The 71 32 200 is essentially the same as the 71 12 200, but the 32 has a "recess" in the blades (or gap between the blades) which "enables round materials to be placed closer to the joint when cutting. The improved leverage makes easy work of cutting through even very hard materials with less effort." The CoBolts numbered 71 0x, 71 1x and 71 2x don't have a recess, while those numbered 71 3x and 71 4x do have the recess. Most of the non-recessed CoBolts have an equivalent with a recess, so 71 32 200 is the recessed version of 71 12 200, 71 31 200 is the recessed version of 71 01 200, and 71 42 200 is the recessed version of 71 22 200.

@@MrSJT Congratulations! I have the 71 22 200 (20 degree head, comfort grips, no recess), and had to do quite a bit of research to work out the differences between them all. Even Knipex's own website doesn't explain clearly, so I totally understood your confusion!

Had a pair, lost them and never replaced them (not essential...) , can only cut small basket and preferably only if you have the ground to lean on to aid in doing so... I see no benefit to having this tool, teying to create a tool for a gap in the market that doesn't exist in my opinion
