After about 15 hours worth of cooking, I’m still waiting for mine to stop blowing ash into the cook chamber when in smoke mode. I hear the manufacturer has a software upgrade coming to help fix this issue.
Hi Dan, thanks for the comment. For this cook we had the grill set up for grilling instead of smoking. You may have also noticed that there were no flare ups from those chicken thighs.
@@PennwoodHomeandHearth Could have started the chicken off at low temp to put some smoke on it. Then the temp increase to crisp up the skin and finish cooking.

I barely saw a single puff of smoke coming off this thing. Did I miss something?

I can't believe for the money they charge for the grill, it doesn't even have slide out grates.....
