So true. One may only guess what the relationship would have been but life is rarely how we imagine. They may not have been comfortable in each other’s company. Catherine is much more aware of the needs of her husband so she and Diana may not have agreed on many things. With Catherine, you just get clear honesty-no games, looks, deep meanings just genuine. It always seemed and still does when looking at old videos, Diana was always aware of the cameras and the angles-the looks. She, at times just seemed so posed to obtain-trying to obtain the perfect look up as if practiced in a mirror. The full effect appeared to be a work of effort to look effortless. You never know as again, we can only guess.

Diana was only 19 when she dating Charles & met only 13 times before engagement but Kate was dating William for 7 years. Diana became mother at 21 just 11 months after her marriage, Kate became mother when she was 31 2 years later her marriage! Kate got much more times for preparing herself. Diana's husband cheated her with his mistress & didn’t love her but Kate's husband loves her & didn’t cheat on her. Charles was jealous about the popularity of his wife but William doesn’t & he always supportive to his wife. Media & press were more aggressive to Diana than Kate, her nothing was unrevealed, people don’t leave her even after her death. She was the most photographed woman in the world, even died for the paparazzi's chasing. Kate is 40 now, Diana was died at 36. The whole circumstances of Diana & Kate are totally different. Some people like & appreciate Kate more than Diana because of her affairs scandal but i want to know that if Kate's husband also cheated on her & hurt her, what would she does?? Probably whatever she wouldn’t involve extramarital relationship & wouldn’t reveal anything about her marriage. But nothing can't be said untill fell in the same situation. Yes, for the honour of her husband’s mother, she wearing her ring as her engagement ring but i wonder how much she really likes Diana!? She never publicly talked about her mother in law..

Diana's greatest gift to Kate was a husband who isn't an emotionally stunted man-child but an emotionally well-rounded husband who is able to express his emotions in a healthy way and to support his wife as she supports him.
I watched earlier William speaking about Catherine and his mother saying that no one could do or be what his mother did and was, and then said (don't quote me verbatim) that he hoped Catherine would pave her own way and encouraged her to make her own path. After watching this, Catherine is not Dianna by no means, however I can see why William loves Catherine. She certainly has similar tastes and demeanor as her mother-in-law. Over the years Catherine's confidence, personality and demeanor has certainly grown 10 fold. Well done Prince William, to have (had, your mom) two beautiful gorgeous women in your life and to be loved by both is very precious indeed, with a third rising up from the ranks, as Charlotte already oozes confidence within herself, and has that beautiful cheeky manner that was seen in Diana. I loved Diana, we were born 3 months apart, and I related to a lot of what she was doing.. but as an adult looking back.. she was a shy, mousy teen when their marriage was arranged by her grandmother and the Queen mother, a vestige of older times. Charles had gone through so much and was 30 when it all started, I couldn’t handle someone 10 yrs my junior who had no opinions or input on anything current.. at 30 I could never have married a 20 yr old who hadn’t been anywhere or done anything.. what a bore!! If nothing else it was a lesson to William and he made sure in trumps that Catherine knew what she was signing up for! That preparation has put her in a vastly stronger position immediately than Diana ever was! Catherine went through 10 years of intrusive preparation and has shone in a way Diana never could because they have approached the entire situation differently. Diana would be in awe of Catherine I think, in the mature strong way she has delt with everything and the palace has also taken hard won lessons to heart!
