Youre pulling a celcius 2.0. But this time the pools are going to be limiting your upside. Youre gaining yield on brett only in a sideways or down market. As soon as brett skyrockets your position is gonna suffer
he got me excited about LP but from my very limited understanding it doesn't make sense. You have to have 2/3 in ETH and 1/3 Brett. ETH could maybe do 5x, but Brett could do 40x, so have only 33% gor to say 20x and 66% only go to 5x seems like you would be better of selling your ETH and just holding everything in Brett. Am I missing something here? Seems obvious that if he believes Brett will hit $4 (and he says it could very well likely hit that or upto $8) then he's making a mistake on buying ETH here.
Jake, love your videos but are you aware of impermanent loss due to using LPs? Of course you earn Brett that way but if Brett value increases faster than ETH (and it will be the case) then you might even lose money in the end. Look it up bro 👊

he doesn't even get the maths. Look at the share of ETH to Brett on the LP. It's 2/3 ETH and 1/3 Brett. You would have to sell 2/3 of your Brett for ETH Now do the maths. he believes Brett could easily hit $4, he said Brett doubled . so price right now is 15c, and ETH hasn't done anything really in past month so say ETH stayed the same and Brett doubled. then you have 2/3 stay the same, 1/3 doubled (66*1+34*2)=134% He's already lost 76% in a month by having to hold ETH for this LP it gets much worse if you say Brett goes to $4 which is (from 7.5c) a 53x and ETH does 5x (66*5+34*53)=2132% instead of the 5300% I still don't fully understand it but this seems obvious. He's not going to make up with the yield he's getting

I'm not sure he is aware of the concept. I'm not either but he thinks you can take your coins out of the LP with all of what you started off with. But from what I read if Brett does 40x and ETH only does 5x, he's going to lose to much of his initial Brett. do you know how it works?
